We took our car there for a simple oil leak. We got it back the next day and it was smoking under the engine and the smell through the vents was terrible. We took it back, they said they fixed it, and when we left there to drive it to work, it broke down before we even got there. (This car has NEVER broken down on us, I don't know if it was just coincidence or what). They came to tow it back and later that day said they looked at it and it wouldn't die for them and they didn't know what was wrong. \r
Two days later, it broke down again. They came to tow it again (so this is the FOURTH time we've been there). They found that when they replaced whatever they replaced for the oil leak the FIRST time, the mechanic ""must have accidentally"" cracked the piece, so they began re-repairing what we brought it there for in the first place. I called before they closed again to see if they figured out why it was dying and the owner said no. I asked if they could keep it overnight and try to figure it out the next day to which they redily agreed. \r
So, the next day, we called every two hours to see if they figured it out (because they never seemed to call us when they found something out) and they told us it was running fine for them, they drove it on the freeway and in the city, and it was fine. So, that night, we said we'd pick it up and they were going to leave the key in the car so we could pick it up after they closed. Now, the night before, it had snowed. We got there, and the key wasn't anywhere. Also, the car had snow all over it and there were no tire tracks behind the car in the snow from the night before. So, when they said they drove it all day, they lied because the car hadn't been moved at least since the night before. \r
We were so upset, we asked him to pay half the price of the rental car we had to get, which he did, and we're never going there again. We took the car somewhere else and in less than twenty minutes, they figured out what was wrong with the car.
Cons: They lied about work they said they did.
