We just had a bad treatment at the restaurant. We brought a restaurantcom certificate which said that if we spent $35 (excluding 20% tip) then we get $25 off. We checked with a waiter who confirmed that they honor this coupon and we bought that much food just to get to required $35. What happened next is the owner came and said he will not honor the certificate and we ended up paying $60. He also told my mom that she can rip up the certificate (which we bought online), which she did (she did not know it was purchased). When I talked to the owner, he would not return the $25, and said the 20% gratuity had to be paid to him not the waiter! so he'll give a discount if in addition to paying $10 to the waiter, we tip him! I hate to be cheated like that, especially in the kosher business, where not only the food, but the behavior has to be kosher. The owner did not care when I said that I have to share my story with others so they don't have it happen to them.
To top this, his other food besides pizza is not tasty at all and there were burnt pieces in the pasta - I did not give it to my child.
