Tourist Trap 5/13/2008

Don't be fooled by the rave ""reviews"" or the allure of a possible gem, it's a grease spot. You will realize that disappointment is the only thing they serve as well as the soggiest, blandest hunk of meat possible. My BURGER was a hunk of unseasoned, not caramelized, barely warm flesh on a mediocre bun. I bit into gristle and sinew on more than one occasion. Overall the burger had NO meaty, savory flavor and an absolute lack of any recognizable seasoning. Me and my friend laughed in disbelief after the first bite. more

Unpleasant experience 5/10/2008

I was looking forward to this dinner, yet after ordering approx. $150, 3 course meal with my out of town parents, I was full of regret. The grilled lamb chops was the worst i have ever had, and after ordering the most expensive entree on the menu, i recieved lamb chops that i didn't even finish - too much oil to try to cover the dryness. The grilled salmon salad had GREEN hard boiled eggs. My dessert was not great. My mother's entree was inedible, but she didn't tell anyone until it was too late. i tried it (duck) and it was not good. Fair warning, Jeremy Restaurant & Bar is not immune to providing an unpleasant experience on a Friday night. I wont be going back. more

Bad Burgers! 4/7/2008

Took my 3 and 7 year old out for birthday dinner. The food, service and atmosphere was terrible. Would not recommend to families and couples. The mushroom bruschetta appetizer was way too soggy. I had the red wine-blue cheese burger - way too sweet and saucy. Daughter had the regular burger - over-fried patty with wilted lettuce, not to mention the second-rate burger bun. more

Overpriced 4/6/2008

Went there with a couple of friends. Have to say that the food was mediocre to say the least. We had the burgers which were dry. The fried calamari was too tough and not tasty and way too expensive for what it is. i would not go back. Also, the food took too long to come out and was substandard and nothing that would attract me to go back. more

I had an amazing dinner. Everything was exquisite from the succulent lamb to the iranian caviar. Foie gras with a reduction of port wine left me wanting more. This restaurant rivals any top New York C 3/21/2008

My dining experience left me wanting more and more. The foie gras finished with a port wine reduction was divine. This restaurant rivals any top New York City restaurant. Move over Jean Georges and Nobu. The service was very attentive and friendly. Everyone cares. I know how hard it is because I own a small bookstore and I know how hard it is to deal with the public. Hats off to small business owners everywhere. Pros: Friendly attentive service, kind owners, delicious cuisine more

Not Worth It 3/17/2008

The grilled lamb chops were subpar. I had the seared scallops appetizer, which was nothing more than average; the lamb chops entree was cold, tough, dried out lamb with some unimpressive onion/pepper/cucumber side which tasted overwhelmingly like cough syrup. Beef was more fat than beef, vegetables were overcooked. The other menu items might be better, but definitely don't go here for the entree menu. Just terrible and SO not worth the bill. more

Dissappointing 3/15/2008

The food was pretty boring. The Jeremy Burger was nothing better than what you could buy at the grocery store and the taste was quite off & greasy. My fries came out soggy & too brown. My husband ordered the ordered Beef Tenderloin medium rare, came out well done, we asked to replace they said it would be add'l charge. The Beef Tenderloin was stringy, bland and pricey. The green beans that came with the Beef Tenderloin were overcooked. Overall, not a good meal for my money. The decor was very gaudy and garish. \r Cons: TASTELESS & BLAND FOOD more

Classic burger, like no other!!!!!!!! 2/25/2008

I was at Jeremy's on Feb. 14 and had a wonderful experience. My boyfriend took me there for a romantic evening. The place is gorgeous, with high exposed ceilings and beautiful chandaliers. The wait staff was awesome and the service was outstanding.\r We both heard that the Jeremy burger was unique and something to try. It was remarkable. The burger itself was hudge and made to the perfect medium temperature. There was an onion type of jam on it with a tangy gravy. The onion sauce had a sweet yet interesting taste of balsamic viniger to it. Both the gravy and onion jam gave this burger a fantastic taste. All of the different flavors together was terrific.\r My boyfriend had the beef tenderloin. We had heard it was the house specialty. The beef was prepared perfectly with potatoes and green beans. It was terrific as well.\r I have been recommending this restaurant to anyone who I have run into all last week.\r Wonderful food, service and experience!!\r By the way, there is no cashier at this place. The waiter waited till we were all done with our dessert before bringing us our bill. \r ""Barley Edible"" must have left there tast buds at the door!\r Delightfull!!!!!!! Pros: Remarkable flavors of food melded togther. more

Barely Edible 2/11/2008

A waste of time and money. I don't want to exaggrate here but really, this has to be one of the worst dinner experiences in my entire life. First, the waitress was so inattentive...it took 35-min. for a hamburger...and when I asked where the cheese was (yes, I ordered a cheeseburger) she said she could get me a slice. We couldn't wait to get out of this place as the burger turned out to be a 1/4 pd of raw meat. When the cashier asked how was the food...I told her the food was barely edible. Cons: raw meat more

Terrific Service and Delicious Cuisine. Heavenly 1/30/2008

Wow, I am shocked after reading some of the other reviews. My dining experience was superb. I went with friends on a Saturday night and had a remarkable experience. The service was on the mark. Very friendly, very attentive. I started with diver caught scallops with apples, grapefruit, oranges belgian endive and finished with a mustard tarragon vinaigrette. I loved every minute. The beef tenderloin with garlic cheddar mashed potatoes and finished with a port wine balsamic onion jam mixture was heavenly. Go back again and again. more
