BAD School 8/29/2008

This school is horrible. I went to school here and the owner would literally cuss students, clients, and the instructors that taught us out, at least once a week, someone was getting it from her. You would think she would realize that it's just not the way to run a business, but I guess it's OK for her. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend going to to school there, she's so mean. Cons: MEAN owner more

excellent value, usually have to wait, good with hair, bad for facials 7/26/2006

I'm constantly pleased with how my hair turns out, especially for the price. I'd recommend them for hair touch-ups and eyebrow waxing. I've had bad experiences anytime I try any of their other services. \r \r One of the rooms they do facials in is one large room divided by a thin barrier. The girl doing the facial was pretty good. But I wasn't able to relax while listening to 2 girls chatting loudly while waxing someone. I also had the worst pedicure there once. \r \r The prices are great but you pay for it with time. No appointments so you have to wait. Don't go on Saturday. I've gone twice on Saturday and been turned away. Other downfall is that the girls eventually graduate and leave. So one day the girl that did your eyebrows perfect suddenly won't be there. Pros: price, hair color, eyebrow waxing Cons: wait time, noisy, bad job on pedicures more

best beauty school in austin 1/27/2005

As a transfer student, I know this school is by far better than any other school in the Austin area. There is plenty of one on one attention between students and instructors. The environment is very professional and postive. Before any client services are done, students have to have tested out of that subject, unlike many schools in Austin. At the last cosmetology school I attended I felt as if I had been ripped off. At Jenissa I feel like I got my moneys worth. more
