Worst buying experiance ive ever had.only worried about the sale. Brand new machine stopped working after a month and the 24 hour on call guy refused to come out as my house is freezing cold. Save yourself some hassle and dont let them near your house more

Totally Satisfied 11/10/2011

I bought a new house in 2006. I always had issues with our HVAC system. Other contractors said that I needed a new system. JD told me that it was an airflow issue and he could fix the duct work for a fraction of the cost of a new system. After he finished, our system worked great. Thanks for saving me money and being honest! I recommend these guys to all of my friends and family. Top Notch!!!! more

Great Company, Nice People 11/10/2011

I read some of the other reviews on here and was pretty shocked!! Any time I call jd vigils everyone is always so nice. Mr. Vigil has installed a furnace and air conditioner for me and my parents and a few friends also. Any time I have had a question Mr. Vigil and his staff have always been very courteous and Just plain nice. I trust this company with my parent more

reliable and thourough 11/10/2011

Over the years we have had them put in a new boiler, and 2 air conditioning units among other things. They even had to fix a botched job done by a 'freind'. We are very happy with the professionalism and knowledge of this company - and will continue to call them as needed. more

WOW! 11/9/2011

Just had our tune up for this year. What great guys they have working there. They always put on the boot covers to keep from tracking up the floor. I so appreciate that. We have used J.D. Vigil for years and they always exceed our expectations. I have called down to their office and Mr. Vigil will always take the time to talk to me if I ask. Now that’s an owner that has nothing to hide. The office staff is great too. No need to call anyone else. I would highly recommend! It’s a shame you can only give them 5 stars. more

Overchanged... AVOID 10/19/2011

If you want to pay above market prices for your HVAC repairs and parts then JD Vigil is your shop of choice. a fifteen minute diagnosis fee is standard for their exploitation of Colorado Springs residents. I wish I would have read some of the reviews online before taking the easy way out and calling the number for the vendor that originally installed my forced air system. The tech was great, but the management's billing practices are unethical. When talking to the office billing staff regarding their billing practices (Lump sum, not breaking down parts and labor) she stated that unfortunately that is their policy... The website states, ""If your not happy I'm not happy"".. Well Mr. Vigil, I am not happy and will enjoying telling all about my experiences. more

Canceled my membership 9/19/2011

I have had a membership with JD Vigil for years but have canceled my membership. 2 years ago the tech was slamming the owner on how he wants to rip off his customers. This year another tech came out and said my furnance was leaking carbon monoxide and probably needed a new one. I decided to get a second opinion and my furnance is just fine (it is only 10 years old). Very disappointed in this company. more

Avoid at all costs! 7/25/2011

Totally tried to rip us off!! They said we needed a new furnace when ours is only 10 years old, they told us it was a 1983 furnace. Anyone who knows anything about furnaces, as you would expect from ""experts"", would know the technology in our furnace wasn't around in 1983. more

I have just learned a valuable lesson when talking with JD Vigil. Sometimes when we are upset or feel we aren't being heard, we need to step back from the situation and see what really needs to be acknowledged and try to lay aside our frustrations. When this is done, then you can actually move forward and resolve the problems. I have so appreciated their service department at JD Vigil, when they have had to come out and fix things and now I even have greater respect for the company as Mr Vigil took the time to work through our concerns and to listen to us. That is a sign of good leadership in a company - to acknowledge the situation, to hear the people who buy from them, and then help to move it forward in a positive way. more

service is great but getting it right the first time isn't 6/29/2011

We had taken bids fromdifferent heating and ac companies and decided to go through JD Vigil. We thought the guy did a great job until we started getting headaches and found out we had a gas leak - thank goodness it was summer time. Then when the inspector came out they found it was wired wrong. Now 10 months later found out the ac wasn't taped right and the humidifer wasn't mounted right. Their service department did a great job fixing the problems but it should have been done right the first time. It shouldn't have taken 3 service calls. Plus I asked to speak to JD Vigil and he had someone else return the call and even though I asked to speak to him, he never called me back. I would highly recommend another company if you are interested in getting a heater and/or ac. more

Horrible 6/27/2011

Please look else where. My furnace and ac worked before I had them come do a tune up. I waited till the hottest day to turn on the ac and guess what it magically doesn't work anymore after their tune-up. On two occassions they have "no showed" for scheduled appointments. The last straw was calling them at 815 in the morning and they said they could have someone out between 4-6pm I took the day off of work for this appointment no one showed no one called. I called at 6 to find out what was going on and that was their answering service (very nice) then the on call guy call's and says it will be $179 for him to come out. WHAT!!! I don't think so I had a scheduled appointment and this is a call back from work I already paid $300 for. Bob said well if you want me to come out you will pay after hours prices. I f you want customer service do not use JD Vigil because they don't show for their appointments and they do shotty work. Horrible Company. more
