I never used to frequent this JCPenney until the stores at Echelon (Voorhees) and the Gallery (Philadelphia- Market East) closed. In a way, that was actually a good thing. This JCPenney is better than both of them were. Firstly, the staff in this JCPenney are very friendly and polite. They care about their work, and it shows. (I know I often say that, but that's because I run into so many good stores staffed by good people.) The service here is much better than at the JCPenney in Cherry Hill, which I avoid at all costs. Moreover, this store is better lit than the other JCPenney. It is modernized, bright, and pleasant. It offers a nice assortment of departments, too. There's furniture, clothes, cosmetics (limited), shoes, and jewelry. There's even a styling salon, a portrait studio, and a luggage department. It's spotless inside, and it is easy to find what you want. The prices are great; everything goes on sale at prices that rival Kmart, Wal-Mart, and Target. Plus the store is much nicer. My only complaint is that the aisles can be a bit narrow especially in the clothing department, and they should open more registers on weekends. I last visited during the Sweet Sale and while I appreciated the free chocolate, the lines were a little too long for a store of this caliber.
JCPenney is located at Center Court, next to the Food Court. Its second floor is by the Reactrix (?) machine/floor mat where kids can play around with a screen. They can move and the machine moves too.
