DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ! These attractions were extremely overpriced and a lame excuse for ""scary"". The staff is very rude and I am sad to say I wasted hours of my life to experience this. GO SOMEPLACE ELSE IF YOU WANT TO BE SCARED ! more

Great scares! Lots of fun and original props and characters!! I absolutely love this place. I've been going to Jason's Woods for many years and it remains to be the #1 must see Haunted Attraction in my family.. Keep up the good job guys.. Can't wait to see what's new for 2012! more

Only thing scary here is the ticket price!!!!! Lame!!!!! 11/2/2011

Jason's Woods is a total rip-off!!!!!! It is so ridiculously lame!!!!! Absolutely not scary. The ""attractions"" have very few ""actors"" and the ""sets"" are laughable!!!!!! The hayride is so well lit that you can see the ""actors"" before they unenthusiastically attempt to scare you!!!!!!! Drove a long way to come here (instead of going back to Field of Screams which is 1 million times better than this place) and was horribly disappointed!!!!! Told the owners what I thought about their outrageous prices (paid $40/ticket after $5 coupon) for their amazingly disappointing ""entertainment"" but they were very rude and didn't care!!!!! Skip this place & go to Field of Screams instead. more

Good Scares and Better Value 10/10/2011

Jason's Woods is all new this year! We went last saturday A lot of the old moldy stuff is gone and has been replaced by weird new stuff. The staff really cares about you having a good time and the actors and sets are top notch. The old haunted museum was replaced with spfx laden theater that is really fun! Overall a great experience and only 25 bucks for a whole night of fun in Lancaster county!! more

Entertaining Times with Lots of Thrills 7/13/2011

My family and I have visited Jason's Woods for the last three years or so. Every year we find something entertaining and fun that my kids and I talk about for ages. While the drive might be a bit hard to get to (even with the dozen or more signs), the scenic drive through Lancaster countryside is as spooky as it gets. The lines might have been a bit long at times but plenty of entertainment from clowns, music, and comedians entertained us. The staff was friendly and courteous from the parking lot to the ticket takers. The museum lacked a bit of scares but the darkness of some of the smaller shows made for a frightening time. My kids wanted to go on it again. The hayride was well themed last year but the older themes have been better. The actors makeup and dress fit them extremely well. Also, at other shows in the area many of the actors tug or pull on you to get you to scream if you don't react. Jason's Woods gives you space while still being in your face and turning a nerve. The effects and sound were amazing. The kids still talk about making flaming machines in the backyard (NOOOO!). If you want wholesome, scary family entertainment for your money go to Jason's Woods. They've been doing it for years and there is a reason why. more

THE FIRST!!!! 5/4/2011

I've visited Jason's Woods every year since it opened (25 years) What some of these ""reviewers"" fail to realize, is if not for Jason's Woods the industry of Haunted Attractions in PA. would not be what it is!!! Jason's Woods was the first and while I admit, it has lacked the thrills and chills of former years I feel confident that based on what their FB page is saying, this year they are stepping it up! I'm anxious to visit again this year and see what's happening!!!! :) more

6 hours of my life I won't get back 10/24/2010

The rating should honestly be a zero. Jasons Woods is and always will be one of the worst ""haunted"" attractions I have ever been to. We can start off with the lines, or should I say line. The line started to get tickets, which took an hour and a half. Then we had to wait another hour to get into a Museum that was poorly set up and not scary. Then we followed the same line to a haunted maze, which was so dark you couldn't see and I am still not sure if it was actually a maze. Then we waited 10 minutes in that line (inside the maze) to wait in another line to get to a hayride that was not worth the diesel they spent to run the tractor. Then, once we got off of the hayride, we waited, in another line to go through a haunted barn. Strobe light and steps...at once... Brilliant idea. Once you go up the steps it is black, with no directions, and there was no one there is costumes to even jump out (not that they could because the space we had to walk through was small). Then once we waited in that line we waited in another line to go into a pirate ship in 3d? the 3d was the paint. There were no pirates. Well, actually now that I mention it, I am pretty sure, since the time we got there until the time we left, we saw 6 ""characters"". Poorly dressed with bad makeup. We should have turned around when we saw the attractions that cost extra set up in the bed of a tractor trailer with screen printed sheets. more

Jason's Woods sucked horribly 10/11/2010

My girlfriend and I did the whole VIP package. The only thing good was the Barn Of Terror. The other ones were so dumb/pointless/short. The Wizard of Oz, Pitch Black, and Physco Circus were trailers setup like a maze that was completely dark for like 5 minutes that you walk through and someone screams at you twice.. The Jason's Woods part should of been called walk with a slutty guy as he flirts with girls as you hike up some mountains with some bad props/bad actors/stupid little things to walk through hike.. You hold on a rope the whole time. Why not just have a straight path through some woods where you can't really get lost or fall down a hill? Come on now. We also met ""Jason"" from Freddy Vs Jason...Haha. Sounds great but all he did was sit there sounding miserable about how his career is not going well. I'm just warning you now. DO NOT GO TO JASON'S WOODS. Go to some other better one like Field Of Screams. more

Way below what I had expected 10/10/2009

just returned back from Jason's woods and I must say I am extremely disappointed. So are my other friends for the money and time we wasted driving there. \r \r We decided to try the new attraction at Jason's woods, walk through the dark, or whatever it is called. Anyway, we bought our tickets, 15 dollars a piece, and went for our walk. There were poorly lit non active props set up in the woods that you walked past. There was one recurring character walking around in a wolf mask and two tunnels. The whole thing maybe took us ten minutes to do. There were no special effects, no array of characters, or really anythign I would come to expect from a large operation like Jason's woods. Honestly, the walk looked like something I would have designed with my friends back in middle school. \r \r To be fair we only did one attraction, but we didn't want to spend money onanything else there because we were afraid of being ripped off again. The scariest part was the end when we said.... ""wait I paid 15 dollars for this? "" Pros: It was a beautiful night Cons: cheap horror walk, way overpriced more
