TERRIBLE service! 3/25/2007

EVERY time, without fail, I have been extremely disappointed with the service at the Fremont location. With large parties (3+), the food has always come out at different times. They have always been quite impolite and ignorant when it comes to "good service." and SLOW! With all of that said, however, the food is great. Their Phad Thai is superb, and takeout has no complaints! Go with a buddy or go somewhere else. Under no circumstance would I recommend going with a group of any size. more

Best Pad Thai in Seattle 2/8/2006

Everybody has their favorite restaurant for Pad Thai, and this one is mine. Be sure to go for Option #1, rather than their Country Style Option #1A, which isn't quite as good, in my opinion. I think this place blows perennial favorite Tip Tum Thai out of the water. I saw some people complain about the wait, but I've never had any extraordinary problem with this. more

OK Food...Very Good Happy Hour 8/19/2005

This place is just like any other thai place in Seattle (prob a little bit cleaner). The food is ok but wait is sometimes long for dinner. It is in belltown so there are a lot of bars and clubs nearby. But the happy hour food is one of the best. I would suggest eating the happy hour food and drinks here and then hitting the clubs after that. more

Fremont for Good Jai Thai 7/16/2005

The Fremont Jai Thai has been my favorite place for Thai since Angel's on Broadway went down hill. Angel's is now the Broadway Jai Thai but the food wasn't very good. The Belltown Jai Thai is good but it is so dark that you can't even see your food. That was a year ago so it may be better now. more

very tasty 6/30/2005

I love the phud thai with tofu from jai thai. It's great fresh and reheated. they also have a great deal for lunch where you get the phud thai and also another dish like curry. I love to get jai thai to go when i've had a long day and don't feel like cooking. more

Consistently good Thai 6/28/2005

Specializing in southern Thai cuisine, the Fremont outpost turns out consistently good noodles, stir-fry and appetizers. Try the country-style Pad Thai noodles for a sweet and sour treat. My experience has not been as good at the Belltown store, and I have not visited any of the other outlets. more

Sooooo Good 4/30/2005

Jai Thai is a great place for delicious, inexpensive food and you just cannot find too many of those. The portions are ample enough to tide you over when you are at your hungriest. I recommend the chicken skewer appetizer and the curry dishes and phad thai. A great way to eat here is to bring some people with similar tastes, order a few dishes, and just all split them. I have heard the one in Fremont is even better, but have not had a chance to visit it. more

You can't get sick of Jai Thai 4/14/2005

Here's how to do Jai Thai: go at lunch during the week. Maybe you have to skip work, maybe you have to take two trains and a bus. Do it. Because they have a great deal for $7: pad thai, salad or soup, and a curry or other dish. It is perfect. It is always exactly what you want. It's even enough to split with someone else if you aren't too, too hungry and want to save cash. Or take some leftovers home. more
