JT Auto is either the most incompetent group of mechanics or a bunch of low-level rip off artists. We took our Jeep into them and was told that we had a blown engine, which would cost $4000. Since we decided to sell the car for scrap or to someone with more time on his or her hands, we arranged to pick the car up after hours. When we went to retrieve the car, they had the wrong Jeep out and our Jeep locked up in the yard. When we called them on it the next day, they tried to claim there was a $45 or $50 tow bill (our insurance company ended up calling them and correcting their “mistake”). During this process, they were asked several times, ""are you sure we are talking about the same Jeep?"" Each time they answered “yes, the brown Jeep”. I had my brother, a mechanic, come up from St. George to look at it. He had been suspicious of the diagnosis as soon as I told him how the car acted when it broke down. All it took was 2 minutes with a mechanic's stethoscope and a nose (smell of raw gas coming out of the tail pipe) for him to diagnose a simple fuel problem. THE ENGINE IS FINE! Hey JT Auto, if you are going to be crooked, make sure your victim doesn't know a mechanic first.
