I was thouroughly impressed with their chocolate at a bridal show last summer. Because it was so tasty and in appreciation of the personal attention that I was given by the company's representative at the bridal show (he was the president)- I later decided to purchase 10 sets of truffles at their Chester store as gifts for my wedding attendants. On the phone, I was quoted $8.50 per set by a young woman named Daria, so I arrived a week later expecting to spend $85. I was given a credit card reciept for $150, and when I told them that there must be some mistake because I was told that my truffles boxes were supposed to cost $8.50/ea, I was given a blank stare and a shrug from the woman at the counter after she told me that they were in fact $15 per set. Then she smiled and said that Daria ""was on vacation"". No effort at all to iron out the situation, just a sort of 'you're wrong now get out of here' attitude. Seeing as it was two days prior to my wedding, I didn't have the energy to argue with them but vowed to never shop there again and to write up my situation for you to see here on Citysearch at the very least! I felt like I deserved better than that. For a company who had such a great presentation and product, I was sorely dissappointed to be misled out of so much money without so much as an apology in the end.
Pros: delicious chocolates
Cons: customer service I received in the end was poor
