Went to the counter, gave my name and phone number. The woman at the front desk who lacked any kind of social grace or communication skills, couldn't find my items by analog or on the computer. She called the guy I usually deal with, 'Mr. Devoid OF Personality'. He found my claim ticket instantly, at the first place she looked. He retrieved my items. I checked the sleeves immediately to see if they had a crease. I don't like creases on my sleeves. I told them not to crease my sleeves this time (they creased my sleeves previously). On the claim ticket it read ""Do Not Crease Sleeves."" Can you guess what they did? THEY CREASED MY SLEEVES! When I brought this to the attention of the 'guy,' he answered without even looking, ""No, they were trying to get the old crease out."" DUDE, I'm not stupid! If they hadn't pressed a crease in my sleeves, my sleeves would be tubular, not flat, as they were. If they hadn't pressed a crease in the sleeves there wouldn't be two creases in the sleeve, the other being at the seam.
Anybody can dry clean. But not everybody can follow directions. I think they are resting on their laurels. They are a huge operation that is coasting and they are letting their attention-to-detail slip.
The lack of customer service is unacceptable. And don't insult my intelligence on top of it.
I'm finding a new Dry Cleaners.
