Do not go to Ivy Nail and Spa. It is a clean evironment, but the owner (aka the man behind the counter) is a real piece of work. I got a mediocre pedicure (I could have done better on myself at home) and so I tipped accordingly. I gave about 10%. The owner then proceeded to hound me to give 15%, saying it was ""common sense"" and required, and wouldn't run my card until I agreed to. I finally made a big enough stink, telling him that not only is tipping NOT required, but if someone doesn't do a good job, they're lucky to get anything. I ended up not tipping at all. I will not be bullied! I brought 3 friends to the spa that day, 2 got mani/pedi, and the other one showed up later. I told her not to get a service there, and I will tell everyone else I meet.
