Was in the area and saw this place among the list of restaurants. Took a look at their menu online and thought I'd give it a try. Called in my order and the person on the phone was kind of rude. When I came in, first person that ""greeted"" me was this gruff waiter, perhaps the same person on the phone ...
Well to my order, I got the Pollo alla Caprese and the Calamari, which I think is a basic gauge of an Italian restaurant. Both items were decent, but nothing special, the pollo was the better of the two. Since going here, I discovered there are quite a few excellent Italian restaurants, not too far in Elmsford. One of them is Rini's, which I think has better food, better prices and a friendlier staff, just not quite the ambiance.
Pros: Quaint, cozy setting
Cons: Somewhat unfriendly, a bit pricey
