Water Booster Pumps are used for increasing water pressure to your whole house and point-of-entry applications where low water pressure is an issue.
Storage Tank Systems
The difference between a water storage tank and a water pressure tank is in how the water is stored. Every home with a well has a water pressure tank, but not every home has a water storage system. The typical water storage tank can be either above or below ground and stores roughly 1,000 gallons of water. The average pressure tank holds around 22 gallons of water. Water storage tanks are typically installed with a well that produces less than 5 gpm or homes that require fire flow protection that can not be accommodated by the production of the well.
