As is often the case, the opinion shared by the reviewer, Mr. ATBellaVista, does not tell the entire story. The reviewer called and stated that he was a former employee of a lawn services company hired by IAD to maintain the lawns at a Rochester, NY property. IAD had no prior relationship with this individual and no direct business relationship with him. He went on to explain that he was fired by the lawn services company and was owed back wages from the lawn services company. I explained that I sympathized with his situation, but could not rectify the situation, as he would need to do this through his former employer. \r
At this point, Mr. ATBellaVista then began to accuse an employee of our firm of being involved in improper practices, but would not be specific. I explained that I appreciated his concern, but due to the fact that I had never met the reviewer ( Mr. ATBellaVista), I would continue to support my employee. He became infuriated by the fact that I would not fire my employee based upon his accusations. Of course, I would not accept the statements from someone I had never met, and instead supported my employee who has been with our organization for over 20 years. I thanked him but made it clear that I would take no action on his accusations.\r
This represents the only communication we have had with Mr. ATBella Vista. We have never been involved in ANY business matters with this individual.\r
I believe our reputation for working with reasonable people in a respectful manner is known to all who have enjoyed meaningful business relationships with our company over the past 30 years. This gentleman was clearly upset at having lost his employment with a company who we hired to maintain our lawns. It was clear that his real grievance should have been directed towards his former employer and not at our company or our valued employees.
