Part Norwegian Craft store, part deli, 100% old country. If you want to purchase kits or take classes on Scandinavian needlepoint, or brush up on your rosemailing, this is the place. Whereas the deli serves up all the yucky Scandinavian favorites such as fish balls, and lutefisk, along with a variety of cheeses such as Gjetost, Nokkelost, and Vasterbotten.
The store's facade and location are at total odds with each other. The quaint, carefully handpainted signage and well maintained store looks about as out of place on E Lake Street as your sweet old granny would look moshing at a Korn concert.
