Infuzion Cafe

I love going to cafes to study, and since the infamous Starbucks is always crowded I thought I would try a new place today. So, I went to Infuzion cafe. My boyfriend and I got out of the car and I waited in the cafe while he came in (about 2 minutes max). Then I get a dollar to give to the woman at the front to make change for the car meter. As soon as I come back I sit down and immediately look up to see one of the employees standing right beside us. He tells us that we have to leave unless we buy something, otherwise we are not welcome there. I had complete intentions of buying a drink, but I JUST sat down. Give me a second to breathe, please! So, I tell my boyfriend to go, because they are obviously unprofessional here. I go to the front and calmly explain that we were planning on buying a drink, but that we just sat down. They accused us of stealing their internet and saying that we were already settled and should have bought a drink. So we ended up having a huge argument in front of all the customers over something so petty. I feel bad for them, they are obviously in need of money for their establishment otherwise they wouldn't be forcing people to buy drinks immediately as they enter the door. They are extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. Every time I walk into a Starbucks, for instance, I am acknowledged and treated well. This is why small coffee/tea establishments are crushed by big consumer companies. I would not recommend this place; the employees are a little too paranoid for their own good. more

This place is great. I went for the first time this week and have wanted to go back every day since. The staff was very friendly and genuine, there was a relaxed and neighborhood atmosphere, and boba drinks are a nice alternative to the usual lattes that are everywhere. I only get my usual coffee drink here, so I can't vouch for the boba etc., but what I come for (coffee, ambiance, service, independent business, location) is the best. Henry understands super service and I've always gotten it every visit. Why a previous reviewer compares the interior to Starbucks I don't understand, there is unique art work on the walls and it definitely has a local hangout ambiance. If I had a laptop I would probably spend way too much time here enjoying the free wifi. I'm not sure if the reviewer below me is familiar with this cafe because it is still owned by one of the original owners, Henry. As a matter of fact, the service has gotten even better since henry took over on his own. Used to be a great coffee shop, But now it's under new management and from the service to the coffee... it has all gone downhill. Not recommended at all. It's sad to see these great coffee shops that you love to go to but they get bought out by someone who doesn't understand business and service. It's been a horrible mess since then. more

This place has got the coolest guys serving very tastey beverages. Including Boba and iced drinks as well as great tasting coffees. The food is limited, however you really want to taste their coffee! after you have been there 2 times, the guys will remember your name forever.
