I absolutely hate dealing with service companies. I think they re all ridiculously priced, and they always try to sell you more than you need. Well this time was different. I called Indoor Comfort Specialists when my a/c quit. Both my salesman and my service technician were awesome. Polite, courteous, very knowledgeable, and I wasn't afraid to allow them into my home (like some other companies people)! I am a firm believer in the philosophy of, you get what you pay for. I didn't mind paying a little more than the other companies for the service I have received. I would definitely refer them to anyone. Thanks, Indoor Comfort Specialists, for showing me that not all service companies are bad! more

Indoor Comfort installed four geothermal a/c and heating units (totaling 11 tons) in our country home two-three years ago. Their people were all prompt, courteous and, most importantly, very knowledgeable about geothermal heating and cooling systems. Service has been outstanding. Would be happy to discuss our positive geothermal experience with others; just get my name and number from their office. more

I had two units installed and have saved over $200 a month on my monthly bills. The team who installed were very friendly and knowledgable. The price was better than others that I researched. I would reccommend them to everyone. more

Terrible - $20 Thermostat = $400 Charge to Customer 10/10/2011

Fair warning DON'T use this company. After hearing them get all the local praise on 1560 the game in town, obviously paid a lot of money for the press, I decided to give them a try as my usual guy was across town and not able to make it that day. I called them up and told them exactly what I needed, all I needed was the thermastat replaced nothing more nothing less. They sent out a contractor who immediately smelled blood as it was a fairly new house. Guy said he had only one thermastat in the truck, again I had called to tell them exactly what I needed, and this thermastat was going to cost me a total of $375 to get installed. Sweating bullets from the heat, I asked him how much would it cost if i ran a block down to buy the same thermostat. His answer ""$200 at least"". Not doing my research I told him to go ahead. Later that day I ran to Home Depot to pick something else up and decided to look to see if I had been had. Sure enough there was my thermostat with a $21.99 price tag right in front of me. I proceeded to call three local competitors in town who all quoted me $100 to get the same installation that these guys had done for $400. I then called the manager at Indoor Comfort who said and I quote, ""If you were to go to the steakhouse down the street wouldn't you expect to pay more then you would pay at the grocery store."" Yes I would but not the 20x mark up that indoor comfort solutions wanted to charge. Sorry for the narative but I want to get it out there are a hundred local guys in town who a) won't rip you off b) try to make you feel dumb about it and 3) do much a better job then these guys do. Again do not use these guys In response to comment: 1) Yes all companies need to make a profit but I think everyone should know what type of profit y'all are trying to make which is 20x cost of the product (15 minute installation so maybe your labor is ridiculous) 2) Yes $89 for a service call, the same price I got the thermastat replaced for and it wasn't called a service call it was called a ""diagnostic charge"" by your company. It had been previously diagnosed by me by saying ""I need a new thermastat.' Guy did nothing to diagnose anything. 3) Look elsewhere: you have three reviews on this site I imagine thats not a good synopsis of your customer base. Not to mention I did my research its obvious form my experience you prey on consumers that don't do theirs. 4) I have one question, You still stand by your price of $400 being fair???? more

Excellent service 5/27/2011

Indoor Comfort Specialists was referred by a neighbor and I can't say enough good things about them. They have always been on time, curteous and efficient. They have replaced our entire A/C system in the past couple of years. Recently our air went out due to a power surge. We deal with special health issues in our family and we were given top priority to get us back up and cooled down. They are professional and understanding and I wouldn't use any other company for a/c and heating needs. more

Great Price and Service 3/16/2009

After Ike, Shane, with Indoor Comfort Specialists was the 3rd company that came out to give pricing for new heating and ac equipment. He spent a lot of time with us going over our needs and gave us a great deal on a 21 sear Trane unit. They beat the competition by 2 thousand dollars and gave a better system to boot. Would recommend them to anyone Pros: Very receptive to our needs and timelines, outstanding price more
