Best Indian Food Around 7/27/2010

This is some of the best Indian food around. I've been eating at India Bistro for ten years now and I have no complaints to speak of. Parking is easy and just around the corner at the gravel lot below Azteca. It has friendly staff and a great atmosphere, come check it out if your in town for the weekend or have lived here your whole life! You won't regret it. more

You can't beat India Bistro for quality and value. The veggies are seasonal and fresh and I always end up with enough food for three meals. What seals the deal for me is that I always try something new here, where at other restaurants, I tend to get the same dish again and again. Take a risk, close your eyes and say nummers! more

This little neighborhood Indian restaurant does indeed have a wonderful lunch buffet at a decent price. It’s also a great place to come for dinner. There is usually a wait, but never to long, and the dinner selection is really terrific. I’ve eaten truckloads of Indian food in my time, but I always see something new on the menu that I want try. more

A buffet that's more than worthwhile 2/18/2006

India bistro is some of the best Indian food in town, and that's saying something. What really shines about it is that it's authentic Indian, but it doesn't taste just like the next Indian place. Their lentils are seriosly to die for. If you've never had great lentils, then check it out. I recommend ordering the buffet if you're coming in for lunch/brunch. more

Great food and service! 5/10/2005

India Bistro greets you with the tantalizing smells of dinner as you walk in the door. The small dining room is quite cozy and romantically lit. I loved the garlic nan, and butter chicken is my favorite dish. The service is fast and friendly and if you go early enough, there is no waiting. more

My favorite Indian restaurant... 3/30/2005

...hands down is India Bistro on Market St. in Ballard. I haven't tried anything there I didn't love. It's a bit small, but the wait never seems to be too long. They've got a patio fo outdoor seating in the summer, too. more
