Incredible Pets

I bought a chihuahua puppy from Incredible Pets, (yeah right incredible....Incredible vet bills, incredible suffering, incredible sadness, incredible hatetrid, incredible money hungry family that owns that store, etc.) on February 5, 2005, I put a $200.00 downpayment on the dog so they can hold him for me. On February 8, 2005 I paid the remaining balance of $700.00+tax. Later that day I noticed my dog had problems breathing so I took him back because I was concerned. They said he had Kennel Cough and this sometimes happens when dogs are in a lot of stress. They gave me antibiotics for him and told me to give them to him twice a day until they were gone. Later that night we noticed his breathing getting worse so the first thing the next day we took him straight to the vet (Willow Creek Pet Hospital) and our doctor, Dr. Barney said he had Bronchitis. We had to leave him there for the next two days because of the Bronchitis and because they found out he was really dehydrated. When we brought him back home we still noticed the breathing problems but not as bad because they had to pump his lungs. Dr. Barney said this was the most guck he has pulled out of such a small puppy and he still couldnt get everything out. On Feb 10, 2005 I called Incredible pets and talked to Chris (managers son) and told him what was going on and he laughed and said there was nothing now that they can do. I went down to the store the next day to talk to the manager he said ""if you would have just brought the dog back to me I could have had him better in two days"" ""I was too attached to my dog I wasnt going to do that"" I also mentioned I was going to report him and he said that he knew the law and how to get around and told me to get out of his store and never to come back. \r \r (I continued the rest of the story underneath this review) Pros: NOTHING Cons: Manager, Chris, Store, sick animals, Dirty, leaking fish tank in the back....EVERYTHING! more

ABOUSELTYLY UNACCEPTABLE!\r How can you sell a dog for THAT MUCH MONEY, and have him be a mutt, and you don?t even have a CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH!\r I don't understand how this store can buy from such an IREPRUTABULE BREEDER!!\r I really hope they will do the right thing, and take the dog and put him down.\r The sad thing is, this dog was beginning to be such a BIG part of our family. My husband is DEVISTATED. My kids were crying when we found out from the doctor that the most humane thing to do would be to put him down.\r How can people take animals and breed them this way!! It is inhumane! They should have to honestly PAY for this.\r Incredible Pets did an awful job here. I hope Kelly will do the right thing.\r All I can say is, if you are buying a dog from them, MAKE SURE you find out if the dog is AKC registered, and get the PAPERS BEFORE you BUY the dog. \r Or you could run into this situation here.\r \r I am VERY disappointed in INCREDIBLE PETS.. By purchasing a puppy at Incredible Pets you may have thought that you saved your puppy's life. Well, you may have, BUT, the second you bought your puppy you better believe that the store was on the phone ordering two more to replace it. \r We live in a money hungry world. It is all about commission and sales. If we continue to purchase puppies from Incredible Pets the demand for more puppies will increase. So as hard as it is, leave the puppy there. I know it is hard. Walk away. Spread the word on what is going on at INCREDIBLE PETS and other stores that sell puppies. We can fight this uphill battle one puppy at a time.\r We bought a Golden Retriever Pup from this Store Incredible Pets in Sandy Utah.\r After he started to grow, we noticed PROBLEMS.\r We took him to see Dr. Anderson at S E Valley Vet. \r We found at 6 months old he has hip dysphasia, and the start of osteoporosis.\r The dog is kennel mill dog sold by MARY and FRED WIEWER, and Sold to a Broker by the name of LAMBRIAR. They are both out of Missouri Area. And are in cahoots with one another.\r Our dog will have to have surgery and be put on pain meds.\r We found out he is not a Golden, and is sold by a breeder with no moral values. They bred the dog?s sister+brother.. Father+Daughter, and so forth.\r They pop out dogs and sell them all over the states to people who are naive.\r Incredible pets told us he was a PURE BRED, which he is NOT. Our doctor said he looks more like a golden doodle... which is a MUT.\r Incredible pets also said he was papered, and we would have breeding rights. BIG LIE.... \r He is registered through some ACA.. Which is not recognized at all. Since he is not AKC registered he is not breed able. He has SERIOUS problems. He also has twitching and his left side of his face hangs lower then the right. \r All this inbreeding has caused him to have all these problems, and will not live without major surgery, and he will have to be on pain meds for the REST OF HIS LIFE. \r 800.00 FOR A MUT!!\r \r \r more

So then you come along. Look at that adorable puppy, just begging you ""please take me home""! You ask questions. Where did this puppy come from? Is she AKC certified? Does she have a warranty? What about vet visits? Everything you hear sounds so good. Too good to be true. That is because it is. Always listen to the voice in the back of your head. So you make the purchase, even though the price is outrageously marked up. You are a little hesitant, but this puppy needs you! She is so cute and you have instantly fallen in love. You convince yourself that you have done the right thing and that money is no object when it comes to a lifelong companion. \r Oh no! Why is your puppy coughing? She seemed fine yesterday. She is not drinking/eating much either. This is terrible. What can you do? You call Incredible Pets and they tell you that you are more than welcome to come down and choose another companion in exchange for your sick puppy. WHAT??!! That is insane! You love your puppy. She is counting on you to help her. Who else will? The resource kit that came with your puppy states ?Pets for a lifetime"". You can't trade in your puppy. They have tricked you.\r \r \r If only you had done more research before you purchased your puppy. But you trusted them. They wouldn't lie right? Wrong. Your puppy came from a puppy mill. Your puppy?s parents are still at that mill. That mill where they will spend the rest of there lives, until they are no longer worth anything to the breeder. Then they are sadly exposed of.\r \r \r Cages upon cages cramped full with dogs that are bred over and over again until there uterus literally turns to mush. There urine and feces falling on the cage below them. The odor is so strong that dogs and puppies literally go blind from it. The metal from the cages dig into the dog?s legs and feet as they try to turn around in an area too small to even lie down or sit up straight in.
