Best

No more to say?? In-N-Out is delicious?????

Worst

this place is waaaay too overhyped. the burgers arent bad and, yeah, it's better than mcdonald's or whatever, but simply put, you're not missing anything if ya don't eat here.

Best Fast Food 5/1/2009

I can't think of a better fast food place. It is limited to just hamburgers and fries. But, that's OK. I prefer that they do only those things that they do best. It is a quality product and properly run. I know people that go to In N Out whenever they come from out of state. It's that good. They pay well and have good benefits for their employees and the price of the product is more than fair for such high quality. One tip - ask for the fries "extra crispy." Jim more

Out 6/4/2006

So, I don't eat at Mikky Dees or Burger King or any bs nasty fastfood like that, so I guess I have no idea just how crappy it all must be if in comparison people really love In-N-Out burger. This place is also crappy. I like burgers. I like fries. Not when they're this soggy and grease soaked. The shakes are ok. But when isn't a shake at least ok? Not worthy cult status by any means. Granted I don't know all the secret codes, but even if I did go "animal style" or whatever it is, I can't imagine that I wouldn't be sitting there like I always do, staring at this pitiful looking fast food thinking, is it just me? Am I missing the point somehow by comparing the burgers and fires here to actual good burger and fries, or is it against the rules to consider anything beyond the worst, most disgusting fast food? One saving grace is that they'll make you a burger without the burger (a.k.a.: grilled cheese). And since the meat is practically lost in the soggy bun and cheese anyways, you almost don't taste the difference (all the grease is still there, so it tastes the same) and it's so cheap, that once your friends are done eating, you'll still have enough money to go get real food somewhere else afterwards. more

In-N-Out Burger is something special 6/17/2005

In-N-Out is better than your average fast food restaurant. It has actually QUALITY food and the burgers taste really good. The shakes are delicious too! Definitely better than McDonald's and Burger King. I definitely recommend either getting a cheeseburger or a hamburger, they are simply delicious! I also LOVE that they put lots of onions and fresh veggies on the burgers, it makes them that much better! more

Nationally Known for Its Excellence 3/8/2005

Hands down the absolutely best burger place in the country. Get the double double "animal style" (there's a secret menu). Anyone not from the West who goes to In n Out is always amazed, so make a point to go there. more

Hits the Spot 6/16/2004

In-N-Out Burger is the best place to get food when you're limited on funds, which makes it the ideal spot for teenagers and college students. Open late until the wee hours of the morning, it's a good place to go for a quick bite to eat, when you're starving, or you're tired of that "healthy diet" thing--it's well worth it. It's located along the touristy Fisherman's Wharf, right next door to Hooters. more
