Like South Beach or Club Space 4/29/2012

If you do not want to go all the way to downtown Miami or South Beach, but you want the music and atmosphere, then Il Bacio's on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday is where you want to be. I've been going at least once a week for more than a year. It is awesome. The music is perfectly loud and mostly electronica, including progressive house and trance. There are almost always women there who did not come with dates, so it's a good place to meet someone. They have the cold fog that envelopes you from time to time where you can't see in front of you for a little while. There are two amazing and drop dead gorgeous go go dancers always wearing outrageous outfits. I mean they are like 9's, easily. Oh yeah, it's an outdoor patio. If you can't stand to be around cigarettes, this is definitely the place to be. The smoke does not linger. They do have an inside room. They take the tables out of the restaurant and play latin dance music in there. Not my thing but a lot of people go there just for that, and some like to switch back and forth all night. The down side is Delray closes early. They roll up the sidewalks by 2 AM, but it gives you time to go West Palm Beach which closes at 4. I recommend Roxy's upstairs, in that case. more

Awful--from start to finish-----service is awful-----management is rude---they must think the place is good because they don't care if you have a bad meal or service.\r Delray has MUCH BETTER then this !!!! more

I had my bussiness party here, . It worked out so well, il Bacio was able to accommidate a party with my whole company and all family and friends ( There were probably 50 plus people there) il bacio worked out to be a great atomesphere ,we had a variety of delicious appetizers for everyone. Everytime i turned around there was a new tray of something tastey to try , such as calamari, meatball sliders, tuna crudo, even sushi rolls! An all around a very classy sophisticated place where it was nice to get dressy and enjoy my company. Very spacious, and those who stayed later got to dance when the dj came on, everyone complemented me on thowing the party here, so i feel i should Thank il bacio and their staff, for the wonderful time! :) see you soon more

I ended here with a couple friends. The drinks were overpriced and crowd was sketchy. I saw the bouncers get physical with someone right next to me who did nothing wrong. I have been going to Atlantic Ave for years and this is the first time that I felt unsafe. I will not be returning. more

I've always gone to Il Bacio for it's nightlife and wild parties, but I ate there recently and I have to say, I was EXTREMELY impressed!! I was informed they have a new chef- he definitely takes the place to a whole new level. I went with a large party and everyone loved their authentic Italian dishes accompanied with the chic, sexy atmosphere!! more

If you are roughly over 40+, all "plastic-surgeried" up, and looking for partners, this is the place for you! My girlfriend and I felt like we were outdoors at someone's Bar Mitzvah, not a serious club. Horrendous music playing, they have a huge "stage" with a cheesy disco ball spinning and go-go girls dancing like maniacs. There is nothing but middle-older aged men and women drunk, falling all over the place and trying to get your attention. Inside bar is cute, but was empty. Security and police are everywhere, girlfriend and I wanted to leave ASAP but they wouldn't allow us out with our drinks in our hand. This place is a joke. Save your time and money. Unless you want a good serious laugh don't bother going here. Atlantic Ave nightlife in general is very uneventful and geared towards older folks & this "club" showcases that perfectly. more

I am in love with Il Bacio - not only is it the go-to place for a night out on the Ave (DJ Brett the Hitman never fails), but it's good for food and drinks beforehand. I'm a big fan of the Truffle Mac n' Cheese and, of course, the Bacio Cosmo. Have always been treated well by the staff, especially the bartenders. Plus, they always have awesome live entertainment and fashon shows at least once a season (the last one I saw was a swimsuit fashion show for Memorial Day with bodypainted models). more

This place is a disgrace to the great atmosphere of atlantic avenue in delray. I tried this place recently and the overall service was horrible. Food over priced for the quality of it. other than the inside being overly decorated it was just non sense. food took way too long to come out even for a simple salad. the music was rediculously loud outside and couldnt even hear my wife talking to me. If anyone goes here and has a complaint save yourself the time of dealing with the manager ( the son ) and the owner. the Pellegrinos are nothing but wanna be wiseguys who know nothing about fine dining service and hospitality. they would never make it in places like NY or NJ. from what i hear the restaurant they have in new england is nothing more than a glorified banquet room. more

When out on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, do yourself a BIG favor and avoid Il Bacio. The avenue has enough good music, good food and good drinks that you don't need to subject yourself to the owner's "Soprano style" handling of customers who might have some type of complaint, whether it be food, drinks, or service. The father and son "gang," the Pellegrinos, Steve and Steve Junior, approach customers with a beyond-menacing attitude and keep their hired police officer very busy ejecting patrons, all night long. If you want to be treated with disrespect by less than low class owner/management, Il Bacio is the place. If not, there are many wonderful clubs and restaurants that far outshine this back alley rat hole. One can only hope they will eventually go out of business and leave the area. There is no place in Delray Beach for these hoodlums. more

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!\r First, I will have to say the Restaurant was visually beautiful. Just, what we wanted for our friend's birthday. We arrived early to eat before the music crowd came. We were going to eat outside but the music, while very good was too loud for us to talk. Went inside where the restaurant was empty. It took them hour to get our food to us, with not even a cracker on the table. We purchased a SFD certificate which we validated with them. Two of the meals were terrible (not made as per our request) send back twice. The manager Steve said they wouldn't take it off the bill. He argued with us and was very confrontational.\r \r Next there were so many unnecessary charges on the bill, i.e. being charged $3.95 every time they refilled our ice tea glasses a couple of inches, we were charged $10 for a salad that was supposed to be included along with un-edible items that were sent back. In the end, they refused to honor our SFD coupon - stating that we had a special that was not covered. \r \r Over all we were insulted, exhausted and very hungry when we left. Steve, the manager, acted like a kid, was very unprofessional and completely clueless on fine dining, food preparation, and friendly customer service. We have a SFD $30 coupon that they didn't honor if any one wants it....We will not be back! more

we went there a few times. we were blown away how good the food was beacuse it just didnt look like the kind of place that would have that type of well prepared well seasoned food. we noramlly go to runway 84 and this place was better. the music was great and the out side bartender made the whole thing well rounded. (this was last Thursday, but Saturday was just as good) at our age we have to leave by 11. i am a huge critic of food and i have never wrote a review before but when i read what these other comments were i had to. i think these other people are used to Fake-a-Roni Grill (thats instead of Macoroni) btw the antiposta tasted like he brought it back from Arthur avenue in the Bronx. more

OMG, I cannot describe how disgusting the food is at this place. It was my first time there....first of all the music was WAY too loud...making the experience completely unenjoyable. It was about 9:30 PM....much too early to be that loud. My boyfriend and I could not even hear each other screaming right in each other's faces. He finally wadded up little pieces of napkin to use as ear plugs...it was painful. On to the food...we ordered the bruschetta ($8) as an appetizer....three half-sticks of foccicia with balsamic vinegar, tomatoes and mixed greens. Ok at best. We also ordered and split a salad - arugala w cherry tomatoes, shaved parmesan, and lemon vinagrette....very blah as well. The entree was the worst part however, seafood spaghetti - the seafood on it was actually BAD, as in rotten....if you've ever tasted a bad mussel you know it's one of the worst tasts imaginable. We each tried two, all bad, before realizing that all of them were....gross, gross, gross....we felt so bad the next day. The funny part was, on the menu it says something like, "We use only the best; if it's not fresh and of the most impeccable quality, we simply do not serve it." - quote from their chef. Hahahahahahaha!! NOT! more
