I dealt with an iSoldIt store in Severna Park, Maryland. They took my stuff, sold it, then decided they knew what to do with my $850.25 better than I did. They went bankrupt.
I talked with Ken Sully, the owner of the company who said, "It's not my problem."
Three months later, the bonding insurance company finally paid my claim.
I heard the store in Seattle, Wash. also went bankrupt, owing employees back salary and one guy $100,000. Another store in Appleton, Wisc went bankrupt, so this is not uncommon.
If you're going to deal with this company, make sure the store and owner(s) are bonded and have insurance in case they go bankrupt.
