Beatles, Mother's Day and Brownies! 4/7/2006

II'm a huge Beatle's fan (I bet you couldn't guess from the yellow sub in my profile) so every year you will find me at this great hotel, enjoying the Fest for Beatles Fans. This place holds great memories for me because the Fest has been held here for so many years. I love the Terrace Garden restaurant (the fajitas are wonderful!) and as you would expect, the service is first-rate. This lovely restaurant also features one of the most amazing Mother's Day brunches you will ever see. The brownies they often sell throughout the hotel are great too and the rooms are nice, I especially like the ones with the balcony. more

Hyatt Regency O'hare 4/2/2006

I've been to this hotel a couple of times and have been overall very pleased with what it offered. First off, the hotel (attached via skywalk to various other hotels and a convention center) was a perfect venue for a large convention--which was the purpose of my stay there. The hotel itself was large enough to accomodate the size of the convention, and the presence of nearby hotels, connected through the mentioned sky-tunnels, was great for overflow guests who could feel like they were still a part of the convention atmosphere. The rooms I've had were nice and accomodating. No complaints in this department. There is a restaurant in the hotel that serves decent food for high prices. I wouldn't recommend this, personally... I have had problems with check-in both times I've stayed at the hotel, but I'm sure this could be attributed to the business that the convention weekends brought. Either way, the staff was friendly and helpful in getting everything straightened out. more
