I had my garage door installed 1 year and 4 months ago. On a fluke a friend showed me how he could open the door even with the lock engaged. This was because the tracks were set too wide and the door could be slid to the left, thus disengaging the lock. When the guy came to service it today he admitted that it was an installation problem and it was never installed properly. However, becuase I did not catch the mistake within the first year, they would not warranty it, and charged me for the labor and the service call. They do crappy work and if you use them I suggest looking over every possible detail. Rather... why not just get a company who does quality work in the first place!
