Humble Towing Service

I have seen some of the reviews, but I must say Humble Towing gets a a 10 out of 10, Make sure you ask for David ! he is great, and will give you honest opinion I was getting ripped off at a garage who asked for an ungodly amount of money , so I called Humble towing to bring my car home.... Well after speaking to David, he advised me to first find another shop, otherwise I would have to pay twice for a tow, and since I was very upset, I did not think of that, also there is a flat fee, with Humble towing, other tow company charges one fee to pick it up, and another fee per mile !!!!! As a Female, there is always a chance to get ripped off by tow people, Dealers etc, but I have to tell you this person was a breath of fresh air, cannot speak for the others, but I will highly recommend this company , and this particular driver David.... more

Evidently they ONLY hire the drivers from hell and they want to take all other drivers back to hell with them. I have had two run-ins with these drivers.... or more appropriately..... these vultures. Someone needs to tell them that they are NOT emergency vehicles as they did not get the memo. I was almost hit by one of their drivers today when he came flying into a parking lot from which I was trying to exit. He was totally in the wrong but my dead body would not have cared too much that I was without fault. There was a two car accident on Atascocita road and I guess he was trying to get the business. There were already 3 other vultures (I mean tow truck drivers) there so I guess he was trying to create some new business by the way he was driving. If I were to have an accident, I would insist on calling ANYONE else. They wouldn't touch my vehicle even if I had to pick up on piece at a time to get my vehicle off the road...... What jerks. more

So, we had a truck stuck in Texas and needed help to get it unstuck. I called this company to see if they could help and how much it might cost. I gave them my drivers number and they told me that they would call him to find out the situation and call me back with a general idea of the cost estimate. Well, they called him, never called me back, they showed up where my driver was, they spent a very short amount of time to tow him about ten feet and proceeded to slap us with a bill for $550! Seems like a great racket they have going, its always nice to get taken advantage of when you are already in a tough situation, consumer beware!!! more

Had my SUV towed from Kingwood to Robbins Chevrolet. Humble Towing arrrived within 15 min. of my phone call. more

My wife had an accident. Humble Towing arrived and wanted to tow the car. I wanted the vehicle towed directly to the body shop. The Tow driver stated the paperwork done the the investigative officer was done, and needed to be change, OR he could take the car to his shop, then deliver it to the repair shop of my choice. He quote a prces of $143. The next moring, was was called by the repoar shop, and teh same driver waqs present, and demanding $450. He said it was for storge, ever though the had written a quote to me for 143. Fortunately, I was working from home that day and was able to go the report shop and confront the driver. He would not budge. Fortunately, the repair shop backed me up, and forced him to have the take the 143. To male matter worse, I had the original quote copy, it you could clearly see where they aded teh charge, after the document wa signed. I have spoke to the insurance compay, and also the owner of the body shop. Apprantly, this is a very common, and unscrupuolous proactice by many towing companies. Be ware. Get a copy of anyting you sign, with the dollars on it. Cons: Con artist. more
