After being a customer of this business for 15+ years, it was disappointing to have endured a 6- week drama over a wool sweater that was ruined by the cleaner. The sweater had only been worn twice when we brought in to be cleaned on 12/16. When we came to pick it up, the sweater was pilled and looked like it had been washed in a washing machine. After several promises that the owner would call us but never getting the call, we continued to stop by expecting to speak with him or someone that would offer a remedy to the situation. Each time we called or came by we were told ""the owner would call"" or ""we're working on fixing it"". We were even told they would buy a new one for us and ""would order it today"" around the first week of January. Ultimately we were accused of bringing in a sweater that was damaged to begin with and told the sweater was only worth $25. (it was a $70 sweater that was now unavailable and anything similar in the color that was ruined, was $105). It's remarkable that until this time, we had never had any problems, yet the owner treated us like we were pond scum and liars.We were lied to on several times about what would be done to remedy the situation. It's unfathomable to us to have been treated in this way.
