If you have an issue here don't waste your time talking to the General Manager.

I've stayed in several hotels in the Colorado Springs area and the Crowne Plaza is the best combination of comfort, affordability, and cleanliness. The indoor pool area is very welcoming and the food and service was impeccable. I will definitely be coming back! more

The staff at this hotel were""over the top"" helpful. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub with all the mature trees and plants around. I will be staying at Crowne Plaza everytime I fly out of Colorado Springs. more

I enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza. My room was extremely comfy and clean and spacious. The service was wonderful, had room service and they called back 30 min later to ask how everything was, front desk was also very kind and offered help when we couldn't find things. I enjoyed my stay, I'd go back again. more

We participated in an annual memorial and Hotel Elegante was the host hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly, but the layout of the hotel was very confusing. It took a couple of days to figure out the best route to and from the lobby. The restaraunt was okay for breakfast, we didn't have any other meals there. The room was nice and the tv was better than most hotels. Overall, I would stay there again. more

I spent two nights and my 9 year old granddaughter was with me one of them. We swam in the indoor pool and got in the hot tub. The World Skating Arena is close by and we saw a dance competition. Facility was well cared for, service was courteous and helpful, and I was especially grateful for the computers available to guests at no cost. This visit made my vacation great. Thanks! more

This is the second year we have stayed at the Crowne Plaza (now called Hotel Elegante) for baseball tournaments. We have been pleased with the hotel in general. The outside pool was a great benefit that many CO hotels don't have. This last visit we were so pleased with their customer service. My son left his iPod Touch in the room when we checked out. We called that night when we got home and the girl at the front desk said they didn't have it. I asked her if she would go check the room because my son remembered it falling onto the floor on the side of the bed. She was so sweet and immediately said she would go check while I waited. She came back with the good news that she found it. They sent it back to us the very next day. I was impressed that they took the time to help us!! We will definitely be back next year! more

I was one of the organizers for a national antique car club event, which was two years in the planning. I have been in this role before, and this was far and away the best experience with a host hotel I have ever had. The entire staff, from the general manager to the maintenance staff, were very thorough, friendly and professional. They were as interested in our having a successful event as we were.\r \r The sales management staff followed up on everything we discussed from the very beginning. They thought of things we wouldn't have, and were very flexible as our requirements changed. There is nothing I could ask for in terms of a host hotel that they didn't have a solution for. We had approximately 400 people in attendance for most of a week. Our attendees had the same opinion as the organizers. This is a first class operation.\r \r The facility itself is large and spread out, so other activities going on did not interfere with our event. We were able to secure the meeting and event areas we needed, and they fit our needs very well. The Crowne Plaza is also well located to the most popular activities in the Colorado Springs area. We found it easy to get around, and there was more to do in the area than our attendees could possibly get to.\r \r The Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau was fantastic too, and are great partners with the Crowne Plaza. They are enthusiastic, and very helpful. If you want to know how to get something done, where to find a vendor to provide some product or service, or need help finding a venue for some event, they are very helpful and very responsive.\r \r If you are thinking of holding an event where you want plenty of attractions and a facility you can count on, you can't do better than the Colorado Springs and the Crowne Plaza.. If you are holding an antique car event, this is even more true. They are very attuned to the needs and activities of car clubs, and they know what you are talking about.\r \r Most of our organizers live more than 1,000 miles away from Colorado Springs. Without the incredible support of both the Crowne Plaza staff and the Convention Bureau staff, we couldn't have done it. more

My first night I was there they were out of non-down pillows which seemed a little odd. I'm allergic but made do for one night. They brought me fresh pillows in the morning. \r \r The fitness room here is one of my favorites wherever I travel. It's large and has nice equipment. For some reason it's usually sweltering in there. I do wish it had a view. Cold wet towels in a mini fridge are a nice touch. more

I stayed at the hotel with my son, my friend and her two children. This hotel was extremely clean. We took the children to the indoor pool and they had a great time! We ordered room service for the kids and they loved the food - pizza and french fries. Breakfast the next day was fantastic - everything was fresh and cooked very well. This was my first trip to Colorado and I will now look for these hotels any time I travel in the future. \r \r PS - all staff and front desk people were friendly and very efficient. more

We stayed at Crowne Plaza for 8 nights recently. The staff was real friendly and helpful. I liked that they had a shuttle bus available for up to a 3 mile radius since my husband had to use the rental car for business and I wanted to get out and go without paying for a taxi. The hallway carpet looked really dated and so did some of the walls, but everything was really clean, which is very important to me. I ate breakfast only once at the restaurant inside the hotel, and I wouldn't recommend the buffet. Not sure about ordering off the menu. We stayed during the week that there was a huge NASA event going on and the hotel rates were ridicuolously priced during those days. Indoor pool and hot tub were nice. Overall I was satisfied with our visit to Crowne Plaza! more

After a 5 hour drive and an errant GPS, we roled into the Crowne Plaza about 8:00 p.m. The young man who helped us was cordial, welcoming and noted that I had just become a Priority member.\r \r He casually mentioned that he would upgrade our room when I requested a quiet part of the hotel. Wow! It turned out to be a fantastic space and we ended out staying another night instead of moving on to Denver for a hotel there.\r \r Loved then entire stay there including a large jetted tub in the bathroom. Will be back again next time we visit Colorado Springs.\r \r more

Everything seems right about this place. It’s well designed, comfortable, well run. Everybody on the staff is friendly; everybody is on the look out for ways to help you, whether it’s their job or not. If my toilet had broken I think I could have told the chef in the kitchen and he would have said “Don’t worry, sir, I‘m going to make sure that’s taken care of right away.” I’m not sure I have ever stayed at a place that was so universally cheerful, helpful, and problem-free. If I have, then it was three times as expensive.\r That was my personal stay. I also was coordinating a small Army reunion. I’ve been doing this for about ten years and I’ve never seen anybody work so hard at getting providing everything the group needed including staying within a very tight budget. World War II veterans are leaving us at a rapid rate, so our group had declined to under 20 by the time we actually arrived. You would have thought we were paying for 400, the way they hopped to make sure every detail was worked out. We asked for several items that I’m sure they could have charged us for according to the contract, but for them it was less important to manage revenue than it was to make sure the customer was happy with everything.\r I recommend the Crowne Plaza wholeheartedly.\r more

I stay at the Crowne often when on business in the Springs. Over the last 3 years the quality has gone up significantly. I was delighted to find that they are no longer charging for internet. A daily $1 service charge covered it all. Very nice. more

Stayed a week for a conference in Colorado Springs. The hotel was nice and comfortable rooms. It is not in a bad location (easy access), but did have to drive to get places. One plus was there is a running trail about a block or so from the hotel. The trail runs along a creek and makes for a nice run. To get to the trail, go away from the interstate on south circle drive. You will pass the University of Phoenix, Days Inn, and pass the mobile home park. You should see the creek and trail. It was easy access through the mobile home park also. more

We had a very nice stay at CP hotel. The room was huge, the bed comfortable, the linens very nice. I asked for a quite room and we got assigned to their ""quite zone"", it's a floor with no kids, no large groups etc. It was indeed very quite there! It's a genius idea, why don't more hotels come up with this?! The room looked like it was recently renovated and the housekeeping did a great job. more
