If you want more for your money, Google DirtyGirl22 ? this is who will be teaching your daughter. I was so excited when I bought the Living Social deal for Horse Play, having years of riding experience and wanting to get back in the saddle. However, it turned out to be anything but fun. Even from the beginning when I called to schedule a lesson and was texted in return, the lack of professionalism was appalling and only got worse. The two stalls, excuse me I mean ?stables?, are not even owned by Horse Play. The ?arena? is literally a giant dirt circle next to the road with debris and uneven, overgrown mounds in the middle (I encourage you to drive by and see for yourself). The photos on Dirty Girl?s, eh hmm, ?Missy?s? website, are not where she is giving lessons. I didn?t grow up riding anywhere fancy, however the pasture where we kept my horse as a child would seem like a top notch riding facility in comparison. As I was leaving my first and only lesson (I bought 4), she mentioned for my next she would schedule a trail ride. Since I paid for the lessons in advance through Living Social and could not get a refund, I tried to schedule the ride. The emails I sent took about a week for a response and then each time she would say she was completely booked for that weekend. I find it hard to believe that a business email is only checked every 7 ? 10 days. I sent my last email two weeks ago asking her to let me know when she is free, and still have not heard anything. Of course, she had no intention of scheduling another lesson since she already had the money and played it out until my lessons expired. I?m not one to normally use this approach but was so mislead and ripped off that I don?t want anyone else to go through the same thing.
