Hometown buffet charges a few dollars more than healthier counterparts like Fresh Choice and Sweet Tomatoes (all in relatively in the same area). It is about $9 to eat here. The line can become very long on the weekends and holidays, as long as stretching across the length of the restaurant out the door. They serve basic american food like mashed potatoes and gravy, fried chicken, corn on the cob, apple pie, salads, and soup. They also have a little section for Chinese food and Mexican food in the grilling area at the back.
