This has to the worst stay that my husband and I have had. We made our reservations on the internet after calling the hotel directly and asking the rate and they quoted $10 more and telling them the internet rate and they still wouldn't come down.... should have been an omen .... We requested a ground floor room. We were sent to a room... opened the door.. room was already occupied.... geez. Great Security. We were in the middle of a military reassignment overseas and had 6 heavy (70 lb bags) no one to help get them upstairs no elevator, we wanted to pay cash up front for the 2 nights and they insisted we put a credit card... so we put our debit card on file and paid cash for 2 nights. We checked out and received a receipt for our cash payment and cleared the account. The hotel assured us everything was clear and yet they charged our debit card for 2 nights also. To make a long story short.... it took 6 weeks to get Ramada to return the money back to our account, after 4 international phone calls and 3 faxes of the receipts of the paid voucher. This doesn't even count the problems with the internet service, dirty sheets, carpets, or lack of towels.... This could have all been prevented... with good customer service and a well managed HOTEL.. RUN>>>>to another hotel for your next stay!!! WE will.
