Dr. Hogg specializes in something called naturopathic wisdom; it is actually a specialty in holistic or alternative medicine. I was seeing him around the same time as my western medicine counselor, so I was waiting to see which treatment would end up working better for me in terms of life management. I appreciate and understand where Dr. Hogg's teachings came from, but I could not bring myself to completely embrace the naturopathic wisdom. A lot of it has to do with the idea of the body being in harmony and healing itself. Honestly, I think there are some things only medicine can help;
