Located in Springfields City Hall, the History Museum is all about the history of Springfield. The main exhibit traces local history from pre-historic times through the 1950s. There are hands-on areas help kids learn about the Native Americans, pioneers and soldiers who lived here. They also have rotating exhibits that cover various topics.
It's free admission but they do suggest donations to keep everything running.
It's an interesting place to go and doesn't take a lot of time, so if you are from Springfield but know nothing about the town and how it came to be, you should check these exhibits out.
