I have stayed at the Midland Hilton on each of my visits to West Texas. As a musician, I really appreciate the fact that the maids understand what 'do not disturb' means, even if I never take the sign down. However, the kitchen might goof and double-bill you on breakfast. Happened to us two years in a row. Check your bill, and they will correct it right away.. more

Despite all the negative reviews I read on TripAdvisor, I had a great stay at the Midland- Hilton. The staff is outstanding!! They were extremely responsive to my needs. They went out of their way to check on me and answer my questions. The two bars in the hotel were great! The Mahogany is probably the best bar in downtown Midland. Previous reviews were correct about downtown Midland being ghost town at night (and during the day it seemed to me). I had to drive a few miles for alternate dining options but that was okay to me. Plus I got a great corporate rate!! I will definately stay here again. more
