On Friday, July 7, 2006 I was taken to Hillcrest Medical Center by ambulance. After hours in the emergency room, I was admitted for observation. On Saturday at about 11am the doctor told me I would be discharged........I had to wait until 5pm Saturday to be discharged. While there may be paperwork to do, there is ABSOLUTELY no reason for a person to have to wait so long.
The staff was wonderful, but the politics of it all is frustrating.
Any thoughts out there.......I have no medical insurance, and I want to see what it is that I will be charged with.
This is insane.....
