Training with Jason was the best thing that ever happened to me! I worked out for a month during summer and saw changes in my body, got stronger and overall felt better. It's not easy and even though i haven't reached my goals, training with him just motivates me to carry on. Jason thanks to you I will have a new lifestyle and I will train harder. I cant thank you enough! Oh! And I will be back more

Jason and James Team 1/29/2009

Jason hooked me up, because of scheduling conflicts, with his man James Balazs who is honestly one of the best trainers I have met. I have worked through about 3 trainers and I can honestly say James has by far been the most knowledgeable. He pushes you hard to achieve the goals you want and understands the effects of supplements and diet have on your body. All and all I think the Jason & James team is an excellent place to at the very least try, if not commit. more

Win the Body Battle 1/13/2009

When I was 53, I won the Venice Beach body building contest master's division because of Jason. I am a nurse by profession, not some disciplined, driven athlete. His heartfelt encouragement gave me the courage and his training techniques, that were, quite frankly not that difficult gave me THE body! If you do what he says, you will get what you want - plus! Jason really cares about results for you, not so common in the training world I have found. Don't put it off, it is never too late to win the body battle, and with Jason's help it will happen sooner than you think! more

Fanatastic system! 1/10/2009

Jason's program covers it all: nutrition, cardio, resistance training. The training sessions are super challenging yet fun, the diet spartan (but you aren't hungry) and the cardio actually pretty easy. He sets you up with one of his great trainers ( I trained with Nicholas in Marina del Rey) and keeps an eye on your progress with online and face to face checkups. He really wants you to get the results! (Maybe more than you do...) more

Jason's Colleague -- James Balazs 1/8/2009

An element of Jason's services that seems underrepresented here is the fact that he offers clients the option of training with his colleagues. In my case, Jason quickly sized up my needs and matched me with James Balazs (pronounced like ""ballast"" without the ""t""), who works out of the Easton Gym on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. I've worked out with James for more than a year -- starting at age 53 and 40 pounds overweight -- and with his careful guidance have dropped my BP from dangerous to normal, my body-fat percentage from obese to normal, my weight from 250 to 214, my strength and well-being from lousy to good. James is a knowledgeable trainer, not some rep-counting moron who doesn't understand customizing workouts (of which there are far too many in this field). He's sensitive to clients' changing needs, never appears bored, is extremely attentive to correct form and keeps workouts varied. Plus, he's a genuinely good, honest, funny and communicable guy. Highest recommendation. Pros: A real pro. Cons: None. more

Jason's program works only for those who follow it 100%, if you deviate you can only blame yourself if you don't get the results. He is hard working and very motivated to getting you the body you want. He also expects the same motivation from you. Follow his diet and excersie program and you will have a body to be proud of . =) more

I have to echo the plethora of extremely positive reviews posted by others regarding Jason Kozma's knowledge and abilities as a personal trainer. I started training with Jason when he first arrived in California from Tennessee back in the mid-90's. Even then, Jason knew more about weight training, physiology, muscle building, fat loss, and nutrition than anyone I had ever met (of have met since). Jason has built a loyal following of clients who have trained with him for years, who enthusiastically recommend him to friends and family, and who come back to Jason over and over again for one reason -- RESULTS!!! This guy knows how to get you in shape and how to help you maintain a high level of fitness once you get there. That's what it's all about, isn't it? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A+++!! Awesome trainer 10/21/2008

I have been struggling with being too skinny my entire life. I had been trying to gain on my own for years but the results were far from impressive. Finally, I decided to invest in a trainer and I am so glad I picked Jason. He opened up my eyes to a whole new world of building up my body. He is very knowledgeable, instills motivation and discipline into my workouts and diet. He designed the workouts based on my specific needs. I gained 20lbs in just 2 months. It made me believe that with dedication I can achieve things I never thought could be possible. When I had to move and wasn't able to work out with him, he searched and recommended trainers he thought would be best for me. I would definitely go back to him whenever I can. more

Training with Jason and James is one of the best experiences I have had. Like everyone else, I dreaded going to the gym, but after a few weeks, training was one of the things I looked forward to every morning. Comprehensive Training - Amazing RESULTS and lifestyle coaching! 10/13/2008

Working with Jason and his team was my first experience with a trainer and an AWESOME experience. Not only did I learn SO much about the connection between diet and excercise, Jason and his team motivated me to put these lessons to use to achieve extraordinary results! Two months after finishing my training with Jason and his team, I had a baby. Throughout my pregnancy I was very fit, active and felt great and bounced back to five pounds less than my pre-pregnancy weight just four months after having my baby (with little effort!). I attribute this to the body I created with High Performance Training and the knowledge I gained regarding diet and exercise. I am looking forward to using Jason and his team again to get back into top condition and stay there! Best trainer in Los Angeles, no exaggeration. 10/13/2008

If you put the time in and follow his fitness and nutrition plan (he details specifically for YOUR body) you will go beyond what you thought your 'best body' could be. No joke! His constant attention and positive attitude keep you focused on your goals - a burger and fries are no match for Kozma, he will win that fight and keep you on that treadmill. Two months into it, I'm already down two sizes and people have stopped calling me ma'am. I can also do more crunches than my military friend. Hoo-ah! more

Kozma will get you where you want to go in record time. You just have to follow the program. Plus, he and his team are really fun so their energy help you get through those challenging workouts. Although living across the globe in Dubai, Jason was able to direct me in details in every single step of my diet, training and rest. Jason was following up with me almost everyday and was always ready to answer all my questions especially in the beginning days. I cant say enough great things about Jason. I've been very impressed with everything from how keen he is in identifying what I as an individual needed in terms of nutrition, supplements and excersize (one size does not fit all!), to just the integrity with which he manages his business. It has been life changing for me. I have been working out pretty vigorously on my own 4-7 days a week most of my adult life, but have never been able to achieve the results I got from with Jason in just 4 weeks! Period. I've trained with over 15 different personal trainers in my life. And all of them had different strengths, but Jason is the single best trainer I have ever worked with or encountered. He is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and will not stop until you have the body you want. He will push you to the max so you better be ready to work hard. Could Jason be the best trainer to walk this earth? Yes... He very well could be. If you've plateaued like I did or even if you never made it anywhere near that plateau, Jason can help you achieve things you never though possible. He has helped me in more ways than just looking better... Although being in the best shape of my life isn't bad. I feel better on the inside and I'm living a much healthier lifestyle than ever before. Everything he taught me I will remember forever. If you're serious about your training goals 9/11/2007

I had been training on my own for over three years before signing up with Jason. I had made some pretty good progress and I thought I knew a thing or two, but I had just stagnated for the last year without any real gains. Fearing that this was just my body's limit I started training with Jason four times a week. As it turns out, I really needed it. Almost everything I thought I knew was wrong and Jason is still helping me re-train, but the gains have been nothing short of amazing.
