While the $9.95 (not including tax) adult admission fee seemed far too high to me, I still found High Falls Gorge to be a fun stop off Route 86. The walking trail was full of lush greenery and the sound of rushing water could be heard throughout. My family especially loved looking down at the gorge; it was both exhilarating and a bit scary to look down at the waterfalls. What I liked was how the place was not too crowded, and how everything was pristine. The walking trail was only about 0.75 miles round-trip, and had many lookout points for taking photos.
