Thought I would give it a try since its close to home and work. Sadly, every last thing was horrible. Ordered 2 dinners...Baby Back Ribs with corn on the cob and cole slaw. Ribs were NOT baby back, burnt and dry. Slaw was tasteless, corn must have been from yesterday. Pulled pork with mac and cheese and baked beans - Pork was dry, burnt and has a stale taste. Beans were SO BAD they were unediable, had pieces of hot dog? I think? in it. Mac and Cheese had no taste at all...Kraft does a better job. Came with what I guess was supposed to be a corn muffin? but instead was this round wet soggy piece of corn they forgot to cook it. Also came with the worst BBQ sause I ever tasted...burnt taste and very thin consistency like salad dressing. So sad...need a good BBQ in the area. Also, cost was $30, only to be tossed in the disposal!! more

Absolutly HORRIBLE! Stay away from this tasteless rip off! I ordered ribs and chiken, came out to $18 dollars. The ribs were burnt and had no sauce, the mac n cheese had no cheese, the chicken was DRY and flavorless, and the baked beans tastes like water. I eant my money back. Try Porky's down the street instead! more

Thanks to to the great smoked flavor of their meats, Hickory Sticks could become one of my favorite BBQ restaurants in south Florida. I went with my wife for a Friday lunch and we basically shared St. Louis ribs, a smoked sausage sandwich, fries, mac & cheese, and corn.\r The ribs and sausage both had a great flavor. The ribs were kind of a mixed bag; the larger ones seemed more moist and flavorful and the (more lean) smaller ones were drier and less tasty.\r Their fries were really great, easily the best side we sampled.\r Don't get their mac & cheese - it needs improvement.\r I also ordered a sweet tea and was a bit shocked that it didn't taste fresh brewed. BBQ restaurants should make a better effort to have good sweet tea; this was a major disappointment for me. more

Ordered the "Hog Heaven" sandwich with side of Mac n cheese: First off, i wish there was more meat (for a 3 meat sandwich, feel like there should have been more) hoagie for the sandwich was fresh, soft an delicious though and the flavoring of the meat was perfect (not too salty) Mac n cheese is awful. Tastes like melted cheese wiz. "brisket was outstanding! Tender and delicious!" direct quote from my mom "st Louis ribs were a little fatty but delicious flavor and tender" that's my dads quote Skin on French fries are decadent! And the arepas (cornmeal) is delicious too. more

I had some very good ribs. The turkey was amazing and the fresh cut fries were delicious. more
