High Tea is a lovely British tradition. This place located in between Oakland Park Blvd and Sunrise (closer to Oakland Park Blvd).\r

I was looking for a cute, girly place where I could go with my aunt/ girl friends for afternoon tea. It's a little on the pricey side ($15.95/person) for some hot tea, scones, and small tea sandwiches, but it was quite nice. The food came out on a 3 platter tray carrier. Each level had a plate. The bottom plate had the tea sandwiches, the middle plate had the scones and the top plate had little desserts. The tea sandwiches were prosciutto with fig jam (my favorite), cucumber and mayo sandwich, egg salad sandwich. (I wish they had more that just three types on the plate). Walnut scones and heart shaped biscuits were on the 2nd plate and the to top plate had a mini chocolate tart with peanut butter filling, mini fruit tart and sugar cookies. The desserts were just o-k.\r

Overall it wasn't a bad meal... Next time, I'm going to try the other place in the same plaza Tea at Lily's and compare. By the way this place is only open until 4pm.
