Cute little place, kind of girlie English style. I would like to try high tea next time. We had breakfast special. It was delicious. more

Their food is so good! The special today was tomato cheese grits, what can I say? They were AMAZING! I tried a bite of my husband's and had to get my own bowl, they were too good to share. more

Damn good sandwich. Definitely a "girly" restaurant, but the tenderloin sandwich was incredible. I'll definitely come back on another Wednesday to have it again. A little more pricey that I had expected (don't mind, but figured it would be about $2 cheaper). It was definitely a very large lunch portion - ended up taking half a sandwich home. Would highly recommend it. The meal would be perfect to take out for two to share, and that would make it a total bargain. The service was great and staff was very friendly. Can't go wrong. more

It's already all been said! Fabulous first visit. A little oasis on Fed Hwy with nature, space, and quiet. Come here to recharge or share a great experience with others. more

I was puzzled when OHOP across the street had a line out the door and we easily sat down at this cute little breakfast nook...clearly these folks weren't well informed! This place reminds me of old Florida...southern hospitality, fresh food, and a cozy and welcoming atmosphere (you almost feel like you're in someone's home). Another hidden treasure in Ft. Lauderdale. Be sure to try the tomato cheesy grits and homemade marmalade. more

Went here this morning for the first time. The food was amazing and cooked to order. The ingredients used were fresh. I had the Cafe Croissant with a side of home fries. THe sandwich is served with fresh fruit on the side. The croissant had fluffy egg, ham, and melted brie cheese. YUMMY! I can't wait to go back for lunch or a tea time!!! more

I have been to the cafe on a number of occasions, including the Friday Happy Hour last week and must say, this establishment is always extraordinary. The portions are perfect and healthy. They have a well rounded wine list as well. The complimentary appetizers during happy hour were a stylish touch while we enjoyed wine and cigars at an outdoor table. more

High Tea is a lovely British tradition. This place located in between Oakland Park Blvd and Sunrise (closer to Oakland Park Blvd).\r \r I was looking for a cute, girly place where I could go with my aunt/ girl friends for afternoon tea. It's a little on the pricey side ($15.95/person) for some hot tea, scones, and small tea sandwiches, but it was quite nice. The food came out on a 3 platter tray carrier. Each level had a plate. The bottom plate had the tea sandwiches, the middle plate had the scones and the top plate had little desserts. The tea sandwiches were prosciutto with fig jam (my favorite), cucumber and mayo sandwich, egg salad sandwich. (I wish they had more that just three types on the plate). Walnut scones and heart shaped biscuits were on the 2nd plate and the to top plate had a mini chocolate tart with peanut butter filling, mini fruit tart and sugar cookies. The desserts were just o-k.\r \r Overall it wasn't a bad meal... Next time, I'm going to try the other place in the same plaza Tea at Lily's and compare. By the way this place is only open until 4pm. more

I really enjoy seeing the daily specials posts. I always know what I'm having before I arrive. Can't resist the tea forte or a nice glass of wine or two with lunch. The cafe is clean, service is prompt and the food is made to order. A great place to bring friends. more

In June of this year the Hibiscus Cafe catered a Baby Shower for me at my Condo. They were professional in every way possible. The food was wonderful and the presentation was beautiful. This was a Brunch and they had made it elegant, the Servers were dressed properly and were always available. I highly recommend the Hibiscus Cafe to all my friends, and can't wait to use them again. One of my friends is using them for her wedding on 10/10/10. Love you all, and thanks so much again for making the Shower such a beautiful success. more
