Living here behind the Redwood curtain has jaded me to bike shops. In SoCal a bike shop is a bike shop... they dont sell tents and backpacks. Henderson Center IS THE ONLY TRUE bike shop in Eureka. They just do bikes and are good at what they do. And at least you wont get the run around if you need help with your bike they can get it done. I went into this store to get something for my husband for Christmas. I don't know anything about bikes and I could only describe what I was looking for. I didn't even know what it was called. The staff helped me find exactly what I was looking for without talking down to me. They explained everything that I needed to do to get it working and they even gave me a coupon for my next purchase. They were extremly helpful and inviting. The store was clean and well stocked. The staff was ver knowledgable and helpful! more
