nearly perfect... 1/2/2007

Having been a "semi-regular' at the Hempest for few years, I can vouch for the awesome, comfortable, and adorable/funky natural fiber clothing. The selection here is among the best of all the natural clothing stores I've seen. The sales staff is helpful and very laid back, and the quality of the clothing is excellent. Four stars: minus one star for the general price of hemp clothing, (not the store's fault) , and occasional issues with keeping a full range of sizes in stock. Highly recommended. more

Amazing selection of Organic Clothing 11/19/2006

This place is one of a kind..I never knew how versatile the hemp plant and its fabrics are. They have lots of interesting & stylish clothes for men and women. Hemp, organic cotton, bamboo, soy and more..The fabrics are soft to the touch and feel great on the skin. I've done quite a bit of shopping there over the years, and my clothes last longer and feel great. A huge thumbs up for The Hempest. more

Natural Clothes 3/10/2006

Hemp is considered to be one of those environmentally sound materials that is both renewable and needs little chemical processing to be worn. This store is dedicated to all things that include that material- from pants, shirts, dresses, accessories, and even some cosmetics. The garden outside lends to the natural theme and the inside of this store is very cute and artistically arranged. The staff here is also very laid back and friendly. more
