Heartland Dermatology & Skin

Heartland Dermatology was established in 1995 by Dr. Feldman. The business expanded shortly after this to include aesthetician services and a physician assistant. In 1997, Dr. Feldman became the first female physician in Des Moines to offer liposculpture and has performed several hundred of these procedures since that time. Dr. Angeloni joined the practice in September of 1997. In November 2000 the office moved into a new building to better serve the needs of our growing medical and aesthetics practices.The new building is composed of the medical facility and the Skin Wellness Center (aesthetics).

Both Dr. Feldman and Dr. Angeloni trained in the military at Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft. Sam Houston, Tx where they had extensive training in the surgical treatment of skin cancers under one of the premier dermatologic surgeons in the country. They also had exposure to a fantastic array of skin problems as Brooke Army Medical Center is the referral center for all army bases the central part of the country from the Mexican border to Canada. Dr. Feldman left the military to go into private practice in 1990 while Dr. Angeloni stayed in the Army and did a fellowship in Dermatologic Immunology. Dr. Angeloni subsequently returned to Brooke Army Medical Center as Staff Dermatologist/Immunodermatologist, and remained there for 5 years until he left the military as a Lieutenant Colonel after 13 years of service.
