Taking in a Senators game is definitely a favorite activity for my family. We have been going basically since the Senators came to Harrisburg and are never disappointed. Eat before you come because concessions are a little pricey, but the low ticket prices balance it out. It is definitely one of the better family activities in the area. more

Local Sports 9/13/2005

I'm not a huge baseball fan, but going to the Senators games are fun. It seems more personal and the fans are well behaved. I sometimes feel like all the fun is taken out of being a spectator when those around you are behaving so poorly. When you are at a larger venue that does happen. It doesn't take too long to get to the stadium and it definitely feels good to have that hometown support for the team. It's nice for the family and it won't break the bank! more

Great local sporting event 7/29/2005

Sometimes it's a pain to drive the whole way to Baltimore to see a baseball game. My family enjoys going to a Senator's game almost as much and it's so much cheaper! You can wait until the last minute to purchase tickets, which is nice. The mascot walks around frequently and always takes the time to talk and tease the kids. more
