We had called for service in early September on our dryer that we purchased from Harris within the last year. The dryer had waht the tech called a manufacture defect. The dryer was and still is inoperable several weeks later . The technician who came out about a week later said he could fix it within about 4 days. He never came back, we never recieved a call back, no explanantion, no planned course of action for remedey. My wife called after we had no response and the representative at the company said she doesnt know if the part was ordered or if it was on back order. This was over a week after the initial service call was performed. A statement was then made by the Harris employee that ""its not my problem"" I then called in a day later and they could not retrieve record of a service call. Once they figured the challenge out on thier end it was stated a appointment was on back order and they would call us in the next two days. Once again no call ever came in to us. I called again and was told two parts are on back order but should be in Thursday. I said I would call back to arrange an appointment. I then called back within the hour and actually spoke with an individual who identified himself as the ""store manager and I know how to look things up"" in a very condescending manner. He stated the parts were not in yet and then asked what was wrong with the dryer after I had already given him my phone number there surely should have been records of the issue. It was like I was calling for the first time again. Now alledgedly a technician will call me tonight for repairs tomorrow although we have been promised calls before and nothing. When we bought the new washer and dryer we expected courtesy service on the front and back end of the sale. We certainly did not recieve that on the back end even from the store manager who is apparently full of himself in his position as he so expressed. I can assure you that we will never step foot in nor recommend this store to our network of friends.
