Mike & Pam Round Rock Hardwood Flooring is family owned & operated & we have never been treated so well when making a purchase. Andrea was always pleasant & very helpful no matter how busy or tired she may of been. Bob was generous with information but never pressured us. Ruben and Miguel did a fantastic job of installing approximately 1,100 sq. feet of flooring, some of it not easy. We shudder to think what could of happened with less skilled men doing the job. They were very careful to avoid any damage, swept the floor every night & even washed it when they completed the job & put the furniture back in place. To say that we were 100% impressed with everyone at Hardwood Flooring would be an understatement! more

From initially walking in their storefront to "check them out" based on investigating reviews on Angie's List to the final wave good-bye, we were consistently impressed by their knowledge of wood flooring, attention to detail, professionalism, and the results. Our floors look amazing, the installation was expertly done, they cleaned up consistently, acted professionally yet friendly at every step. We had a repair that needed done on another wood floor that they performed expertly as well. I cannot say enough about this company. We are delighted with Hardwood Flooring Services family business professionalism and the products they sell and install. We had three rooms completed in August of 2009 (Study, Formal Dinning Room and Living room) and once you go to wood you can not go back to carpet because you notice that you have less dust in the rooms and it so much easier to keep clean. Carpet can never be this clean. This past January 2012 we had the remaining four rooms completed and we went with a different hardwood product this time, it was a local hardwood to Texas and we are very pleased with the results just like the first time. The under cutting of the fire place and around doors is excellent as it looks like the house was built with the floors all along. The family has patience in going over all the options with the product selection to meet your needs. I'm happy to give Hardwood Flooring Services a strong recommendation. Here are my comments in response to your questions. Their work exceeded my expectations; their quote for engineered wood installed was less expensive than what I was able to get at Home Depot; they were very prompt in answering all my questions, never pushed me to make a decision, and were very courteous; and they were VERY efficient in time management, came exactly when they said they would and left at about the same time as they had predicted. The service was outstanding, the product is terrific, and the process was painless! I will use them again if I had more work done. They are really good! We have pictures if you wish to see them. I think the best recommendation I can make is this: After our experience with HFS our daughter and son-in-law hired them to redo their living, dining and great room in laminate. It too is beautiful and very well done. more

Hardwood Flooring Services is the best vendor we have ever dealt with. Their quality was off the scale. They spent a lot of time going through the different wood choices and offered a lot of suggestions of ways we could lay the wood down. They took an extra day to do the installation but that was only because they wanted it to be perfectly level. more

The owner came out and provided a quote for engineered wood. He talked to me about options and directed me to their showroom to meet with his wife and daughter to narrow down our options. We found a product and agreed to a price. They installed the floors a couple of weeks later. The job was about 800 square feet more

"I had the most pleasant experience with Hardwood Flooring Services. Andrea and her mom were so friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable in all aspects of wood flooring and installation. I learned a great deal of information from them. They let me take home bunches of samples, and when I couldn't decide what to do, Andrea came out to my house and gave me some other points to consider. The floor I decided on was recommended by Andrea (it was her favorite), and it is beautiful. I was also under a deadline of sorts, and the job was scheduled and completed in time. The installers were on time, very polite and professional. The floor looks great. I especially like the way the floor looks around the fireplace where it was undercut. The fireplace is made of natural shaped limestone so it is very uneven at the base, but it looks like the fireplace was built over the floor. I will use Hardwood Flooring Services again more

They installed the flooring when they said they would. Their crew even helped move some heavy furniture for us even though they didn't have to.
