Ok, let's get this straight. The owner,Chris,is a friend of mine. She has been for several years. She is one of those rare individuals who treats EVERYONE with respect and friendship; even people who need jobs when she really can't afford to hire them. People like disgruntled, terminated for cause dishwashers and waitresses; see ""Colleen D review"" . Anyway, I have eaten in Chris's over 1000 times in the last 6 or seven years. Are you kidding me, the BEST bacon you ever had, with 3 pcsTexas style french toast and coffee for $7, tax included? A 16oz OJ for a buck? Coffee included in meals and only $1 seperately, bottomless cup. Great omlettes, beaters at no extra charge. Freash fruit waffles and panckes. Everything top quality. Yes, the building is old; but even with the bad economy she has continued to improve everything, provide free newspapers and maintain quality . This is ""the little place that could"". I take my mom and my friends without hesitation. Give it a shot. Maybe you too will make a friend. One bad thing, it has not helped my waist line over the years.
