Best

At first glance this store says comfort. But what has failed to be mentioned is comfort with fashion. Camper shoes which are hard to find are hear and they are my favorites cool ...

All reviews seem positive

Another great reason to visit Lincoln Park 4/2/2007

There are fun shoes here for guys (women too but I don't know their brands)...really unique it seems. Some dress shoes but mostly casual and what I guess you would call dress casual: comfortable and formal enough for a sport coat or shirt and tie but not stuffy suit shoes (I don't think they carry Ferragamo or Allen-Edmonds). Anyway...the staff is great and fun and they will really tell you if a shoe is well made and will last well. But mostly the ones they sell are comfortable and pretty cool looking though I hate to actually write the word cool. Pros: fun comfort in a convenient location Cons: not a lot of sales but not too expensive to start with more

more then comfort 8/22/2002

  • The Scene
Make no mistake: Imelda Marcos wouldn't shop here. And despite the name, you won't find a bunch of slippers. The stock isn't luxurious, nor is it particularly hip, but you will find an impressive selection of foot-friendly shoes that nurture your practical side, with a few cool-kid kicks thrown in for good measure.

    The Goods
Glass slippers? Nope. But there are pricey clogs from brands such as Ecco and Birkenstock along with no-surprise labels Steve Madden, Franco Sarto, Mia and Unlisted. A respectable selection of Kenneth Cole shoes for men offers a stylish alternative to boring business casual, and Doc Martens abound for previously punk 20-somethings. Don't miss the back room: It's filled with haphazard racks of on-sale shoes.
