Hand 'n Hand Child Enrichment Cter Inc

For the past year my kids go to Hand n Hand. They have learn not only the motors skills, letters, numbers and shapes, but how to socialize, respect and share. The owner, director and teachers are the best. My kids have never had a complain about the school or teachers. The place is clean and organize and it feels like at home. My son has been in this preschool for a couple years and he enjoys going there. He is comfortable with the teachers and makes best friends with a couple other kids. He didn't talk when I put him there at 2 y.o, but now he talks too much. He knows how to write his name in 3 y.o class, but no reading yet, only ABCs. He's made a variety of art & crafts every month. All the kids in the classroom seem to enjoy being there. I've seen a big preschool where the children looked not wanting to be there (they cried a lot). Staff turnover has been minimal so far. The building is old but has a nice layout where there is a common playroom for the 3 y.o classes and VPK classes. The front office staffs are nice as well, they are never rude. Overall, if play-based curriculum is what you are looking for, this preschool is a good value. more

I absolutely loved this place as soon as I saw it for my son 4 years ago. I cried when I found out there was a waiting list for infants. My son went there for almost 4 years and all of his teachers were wonderful. He was 1 month premature and each teacher took the time to allow him to develop at his own pace. Miss Martha in the infant room is a true treasure and loves each and every child she takes care of. It's hard for me to believe that she won't be taking care of my second child. As the children get older they provide a great mixture of play and learning for each child. The students they bring in as part of a internship program are all wonderful and it was sad to see them go each semester. The only areas of improvement that kept me from rating them a 5 was the building was old (however the hurricanes supposedly fixed that when they had to rebuild) and there was a decent amount of teacher turnover when my son was in the 3 year old room that made it hard for him to adjust. He would still be there, and his new brother too, if we still lived in the area and gas/tolls/mileage on our cars wasn't going to be so bad. Would also be wonderful if they were open later than 6pm for those parents who had farther to drive. more
