Owner Message

  • I am a master electrician operating out of Bella Vista and cover Northwest Arkansas. If you want to see what many of my Customers say about me, go to my testimonial page. I started as a young boy working summers with my dad and older brother in their electrical business, Haley Electric of Hoopeston, Illinois. Mom, dad and I moved to Bella Vista in 1982 for better opportunities. Dad left the business with my brother and began a new business here. My brother, Dana Haley, still owns and operates Haley Electric now of East Lynn, Illinois. I graduated from Bentonville High School in 1984 earning a golden hammer award for outstanding building trade student of the year. I then studied the National Electrical Code book at Climate Control Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma preparing for the Journeyman Electrician license test. They were known for hard studies and had a very good success rate for passing the test on the first attempt. I completed the course in 1985 and continued to work in my dad electrical business. It took until 1987 to have worked the five years apprenticeship required by the State of Arkansas before I could take the journeyman test. I passed the test in March 1987 and became a licensed Journeyman Electrician. My dad retired from the business in 1989 and became Bella Vista first electrical inspector for A. C. C. (Architectural Control Committee). When my dad passed away in 1993, I took over his job as electrical inspector. While working for A. C. C., I became a certified 1 and 2 Family Dwelling Inspector by passing a written examination and by demonstrating professional qualifications set by I. A. E. I. (International Association of Electrical Inspectors). To keep my certification current I am required to attend 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years, which is current. In 1995 I went back into the electrical business and prepared myself for the 4 hour master electrician test. In 1996 I received my Master Electrician license. I have been in business in Bella Vista for 29 years. I was taught old school work ethics by my dad and take pride in the quality of my work. I look forward to meeting you and being your local electrician. We offer Residential and Commercial.
