The sushi is really good when you visit the restaurant. The service and pizzazz doesn't carry over when delivered. Spent $60 and hardly had anything to show for it. Delivery took an hour and 20 minutes, but I only live 3 blocks away. When I called to ask about where my food was, she said it was coming and have a good night. Click. Needless to say, I found that to be inappropriate. It is about time that restaurants like these realize they are a dime a dozen and amp up their customer service. more

Hachi's is our go-to for great sushi and fried rice. Sushi can be lackluster as delivery, but we are near enough to Hachi's that it is always fresh and tasty. more

Initially I had Hachi's kitchen at a 4 only but their stock has really risen in my mind. They've become my go-to sushi delivery joint in Logan Square and the quality of their pieces especially keeps us coming back. Flavorful soups and tasty rolls are a great compliment. more

Delivery was fast, and the sushi, seaweed salad, yaki udon, and miso soup were all exceptional. Finally a delicious Japanese place in Logan! more

I love Hatchi's. It is my favorite place for sushi. Fish is fresh and tasty. My favs are the crunch roll, the chilean sea bass, and the ahi poke, I end up getting pieces of super white and hamachi for "dessert". I am lazy and love to order delivery from them. My first time ordering through grub-hub (this time even too lazy to call, so off to the interwebs) left me with a looooong wait time and delivery that felt like it had sat for a while (not good with sushi). I don't know if that was grub-hub's fault though...I don't think I'll order delivery on a Friday anymore, I would guess they prioritize the heavy in-store traffic over delivery (as well Hatchi's should). more

Food was just as good as dining in at Hachi's! Presentation of the food was nice for to-go. Delivery time was even faster than estimated (Wednesday night). more

I discovered this restaurant after watching Check Please. It has now become my favorite Japanese/sushi place. Whenever you got to the restaurant the owner--Chef Jimmy stops by to chat and make sure your meal is just as you expected. This is the first time I ordered delivery and wasn't disappointed!! My order came 30 minutes before expected and tasted just as if you were at the restaurant. May order again this week!!! Nicky Bucktown more

Elegant, creative... oh, it's just good! 3/7/2008

The maki as well as the indivudal pieces of sushi - not to mention the brilliant appetizers, including oyster shooters, and the selection of saki - make for an excellent visit every single time. The staff is attentive and courteous; the customers are routinely well-mannered and not-too-loud. Happily off the beaten path, Hachi's is a great, rare find. more

Favorite restaurant in Chicago. We order from here weekly. I have dreams about the spicy creamy tako maki. Everything on the menu is fresh, and delicious. more

I've been here 3 times in the past month! 1/23/2007

Hachi's is great and i HIGHLY reccommend it to anyone looking for quality sushi. The atmosphere is very ""chill"" and isn't too loud like some of the places in River North, etc.. The food is delicious. I'm no sushi expert so I won't go into details, but Hachi's is better than any other sushi I've had. I wasn't a big fan of the dessert items, but the main course items more than make up for it. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Its a great date spot too if you're looking for a place off the beaten path. Pros: ambience, service, tasty food Cons: Takes about 5-10 minutes to find street parking. more

Good food, poor presentation 11/20/2006

The maki at HK are delicious and very creative although I have a hard time getting past the use of paper green grass in the presentation; I feel like I'm eating cheap take out. I like the decor and the service is very promt and friendly. The soft shell crab appetizer is amazing! more
